We arrived and we had a nice welcoming.. but the day after and we did the check out one of the personal of the hotel wanted us to pay for a new towel because was dirty.. I’ve been in different hotels and never this happened.. I not think this is a right behaviour and the way she said to us.. definitely not a nice experience here.. I just give 3 stars for the guy at the reception cause was really nice with us and helped us buying the tickets for the ferry to Koh Phangan

A group of 4 of us stayed here in November 2019. Noknoi the host is extremely helpful and accommodating. We arrived 2 hours later than communicated however she was still very welcoming showing us to our room and providing us with the information of the town. The rooms are extremely clean with a very good air con. We would highly recommend staying at Baansrisuthum!! Thanks for everything Noknoi!

Flew from Chiang Mai to Surat in the morning. Got bus from Surat Airport to Don Sak-500baht then Mini bus to Wang hin Bunkalow)-300baht. Wang hin Bunkalow was not as pictured or described! As the area is so remote the guy from the hotel then charged us 800 baht for a lift to Kahnom to another hotel! Total waste of money and a day. The beautiful beach photo is 10km away. Closest food 5 mins down the road which we did not even reach. No fridge, no beach, no food, no WiFi as signal so weak. We were basically stranded. We spoke and were given our money back for the 2 night stay (1500baht) and after talking to the hotel man and booking.com we were offered a lift to Khanom by this hotel man (possible owner I think) were told to wait and he never showed, so we decided to walk back to the pier for our next move to save money however we couldn’t get any WiFi to book anything else anyway. Booking.com called us and said wait there as the hotel man has offered to give us a lift to Khanom. After waiting a long time with him not showing up we managed to get a lift back to Wang hin Bunkalow for him then to say it’s 800baht for the lift that sounded like it would be of good gesture. He had us by the balls at that point as there was nothing else around. We passed another hotel accommodation place but that was 1000baht a night. We arrived at Talkoo Beach Resort in Khanom which is paradise in comparison! (Good old Lonely Planet book) Luckily the day ended well which we are happy about but we wasted so much time and money, getting stressed and sunburnt on our 1pm stroll on the roads. JUST DON’T DO IT Photos of the beach too..

Very nice decent small resort with superb view. Very calming. The have own restaurant. Food is not so bad. Breakfast is just so so. Dont expect much. They serve breakfast beside the room. The environment is not so good. many flies and ants. The earlier you go the better. Rooms were clean. But the bathroom has some foul smell and the drainage is clogged.
