Breakfast is simple but good and the breakfast room is open 24 hours to allow residents to use it. The Managers, Johanetta and Phillippo were very helpful and he was able to provide valuable information

Beautiful luxury home away from home
Reviewed By mikaellaStayed here for five nights and wished we stayed even longer. The grounds are impeccably manicured. The breakfast and service made us feel like home. The room was spacious, clean, and charming. We also brought our dog and he had a blast. Worth the extra price for a slice of luxury in Friuli.

Reviewed By Franco Gessendo fuori stagione, questa sistemazione e' forse da considerare costosa. Nulla di negativo da segnalare, molto semplice, priva di TV, confortevole ed essenziale. Pur essendo sulla strada fortunatamente non si sono sentiti rumori grazie all'assenza di traffico.

The farm "Casa delle Rose" is Ruttars of Dolegna, in one of the most beautiful and evocative of Gorizia's Collio.The whole complex is situated on several acres of land of which 3.0 are used as vineyards.Above them stands the house, the oldest part of which dates back to 900, while I cover the plant was expanded in 1400.The company offers the service of holiday accommodation in elegantly furnished rooms and has an agritourism farm shop with local products tasting corner.

Reviewed By marcodT5421JFAbbiamo alloggiato in questa antica Villa per un week and, Accoglienza ottima, Lucio e sua moglie molto gentili, Posto davvero spettacolare, buoni i bianchi, Colazione da 5 stelle. Unica pecca, giardino e piscina non molto curati, ma visto il periodo ( vendemmia) e la gestione totalmente familiare si chiude più che un occhio! Da provare per chi vuole sentirsi come a casa!

Incredibly gracious and warm hosts in a stunning setting
Reviewed By wmilanboyd2016Rita, Franco and Oliver (their Lhasa Apso dog) were incredibly warm and gracious hosts. They made us feel like members of the family, leaving us with warm memories of our chats in their beautiful garden. I had trouble making restaurant reservations on-line and Franco made all of them for me, including hard-to-get ones. We had the upper floor apartment with spectacular views. It is spacious and is well appointed. We were provided with every breakfast fixing imaginable. The grounds of the Casale are spacious and beautiful, without being in any way pretentious. The location of the Casale Santa Rita is superb. They are in the Collio wine region, with the beautiful backdrop of the Dolomite Mountains. I think the white wines from the Collio in Friuli are probably the best white wines in Italy, and some of the best in the world (Franco knows the Jermann Winery people nearby, great for a visit). Even if you're not into wine, the drives through the Collio hills are simply wonderful. The added bonus is that you are 1/2 kilometer from the Goriska Brda wine region of neighboring Slovenia, with particularly good red wines and equally beautiful countryside. The backdrop for the Goriska Brda wine region is the beautiful Julian Alps of Slovenia, making for very scenic rides on good roads. The Collio region also comes with superb food at unpretentious restaurants such as Al Postiglione and La Subida. I can't think of a place where I would rather spend vacation time than the Casale Santa Rita in the Collio region of Friuli, Italy. All of this comes at a very reasonable cost.
