Located in the city center, Hotel Piazza is one of the most prestigious premises in this city. Opened in 2012, with a particular style and appropriate design Piazza is the most comfortable one. Peshkopi thermal spa is known for its curative qualities and it is just 1.5 Km away from the hotel, the spectacular valley of Black Drin river is 11 km away from the property and let's not forget the highest mountain in Albania, called Korab with a altitude of 2764 m. Bllata, the border crossing point with Macedonia is 18 km away from the city, Mavrovo National park is just 25.5 Km.
The owner and staff take great pride in this immaculate and recently renovated hotel, centrally located in Peshkopi. Rooms are very comfortable, A/C, new bathroom fixtures. Service is impeccable, food excellent, best breakfast on our 3-week visit to Albania. The kindness and generosity shown to us was greatly appreciated. Thank you from Sandy & Frank

This small, homey place just off the main area of Burrel accepted us as a last-minute replacement for a different hotel that didn't work out. As others noted, it is really a family business from top to bottom: mother cooks, son is in-and-out as English-speaking manager, grandfather is there to hold the fort (so to speak), and sister is ready to help with English by phone if needed. So the human factor is well in place, friendly, accommodating, warm, and a huge asset. We needed a refrigerator to store some grocery items we had bought, and presto! One appeared in the room. What to order for dinner when there's no menu? No problem: negotiate with the young man to make up a meal we would like, and then somehow they go out and find the ingredients. Wi-Fi? Excellent, and several different servers in case one or the other goes out. The views? Panoramic at a distance, and lots of little farm animals around to entertain you close-up. Some small things could help. Lighting in the room was really dim, and the TV did not work at all. We were not there for business or a long stay, so it didn't matter much, and I am certain they would have found a way to help if we pressed for that. This was a comfortable night in (for us) a remote location, far nicer than what we have had in several similar situations.

Kulla Hupi Guesthouse is a two hundred year old "Kulla". Kullas are the traditional fortified Balkan tower houses, and this one is a carefully restored prime example. It is and alive museum where in each corner you will find a peace of history. Kulla Hupi Guesthouse is surrounded by a beautiful and tranquil landscape. Guests of this very authentic guesthouse can enjoy mother Sofie’s delicious traditional fare, and many also choose this particular guesthouse as a central point from where they can explore the beautiful forests of the Bulqiza region. We try to support the local economy by employing the women of the village and by buying from the local farmers anything that they produce. In this way we guarantee that everything is organic, locally sourced and grown with love! The whole Kulla Hupi is a memory that revives the past and preserves the Albanian traditions. In addition to accommodation we offer: 1. Horseback riding 2. Hiking to the Observation Tower of Skanderbeg. 3. Traditional cooking courses with my mother Sofia. 4. Walk through the village among fruit trees, waterfall, old church, etc. 5. Guide to the city of Bulqiza and to the memorial of the Battlefield of Skanderbeg.
Absolute friendly people, great service (washing clothes, cleaning bikes) , delicious food. The building inside is amazingly beautiful. Very cosy rooms. Location in the middle of nature with beautiful view. We loved it to stay there and would return every time

We are located in the center of Rabdisht village, around 5km from Peshkopi. Rabdisht is well-known for the virgin nature and splendid mountains and forests. In the summer you will be magnified by the beauty of the village and the hospitality of the welcoming family. We offer a friendly and great ambiance, areas for chill out and a great atmosphere.
Staying at Guest house Sabriu was an unforgettable experince. The family and people of the village were very friendly. Sabri and Festa are the most cheerful people I have met and Festa cooks terrific food

The reception in the hotel is hardwarming. Especially since the ordeal you have gone through to get there. To reach Fushe Lure and the Lura Hotel you have to take one of the baddest roads ever for 45 km. Calling it a road is a compliment, it´s more an adventure trail. Further then the Lura hotel is impossible unless you have a 4x4. But the surroundings are beautifull and due to is seclusion it is not spoiled by mass tourism. That said, the hotel is very basic but convenient. And the family that runs the place is ever so helpfull and friendly. The interioir looks like in a distant past the members of the Communist Party used it as their holiday hangout and after that nothing is altered, But that just adds to the whole experience of this unique spot in Albania.
