Serene and Relaxing, not to be missed. We've been coming here for 18 years and recent renovations of a large atrium gathering/ cocktails/ tea room have made this place even better. Any time, we are going to be in Italy in the Umbria area we stay here and plan our excursions to Deruta, Assisi, Montefalco, Spello, Spoleto, etc from this base camp. The rooms are large and the bed is very comfortable, sheets are lovely. The views of the Umbrian hills and local church towers create an instant sense of calm and relaxation. The upgraded bathrooms are also large. The owners, the Rodella family, welcome guests, with a sincere happiness of spirit and no request is too difficult. We were served cocktails and munchies every night in the Atrium, with a fireplace and gorgeous views of the sunset. It was a perfect setting. Nothing in Umbria compares to the Acclaimed chefs, the Rodella twin brothers, who create masterpieces for meals that make every bite a sensation of flavors. Once again, we were overjoyed to try new meals and be blown away by the taste. Don’t skimp on desert, a beauty to behold, and to taste. The only drawback to eating here is I dream of it every night and other restaurants back home just don’t compare. Five stars, a must for any itinerary wanting to eat an incredible meal in an unpretentious atmosphere.

Stayed here on recommendation of local restaurant at last minute. Beautiful building, room was great size with everything we needed. Bed really comfortable. Garden well kept. Swimming pool not yet open as too cold but looked like would be great in the summer. Extremely helpful and friendly owner who even gave us a lift to local restaurant as no taxis available (grazie mille). Only let down was breakfast, but to be fair we didn’t surface until 9.45 and breakfast stopped at 10 so there wasn’t much left by then so probably our own fault but we managed to find something to eat anyhow. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

In the heart of Umbria, only four kilometres from Deruta, reached by a road through the woods, the ANTICA FATTORIA DEL COLLE rises on a little hill surrounded by the green of olive groves, vineyards, fields of wheat and sunflowers, with its two stone and brick Perugian farmhouses dating from last century, which have been fully and skillfully restored.
I had visited this beautiful farm B&B in 1996 - and our return was wonderful! Roberto and Antonella are the most gracious and kind people you will every meet. They have made fantastic additions to the property since last visiting but also kept all the Umbria charm. It is perfectly located to visit Deruta ceramics, Assisi and other hill towns. This B&B gives you the opportunity to relax and enjoy the countryside. Antonella and Roberto make you feel part of their family - we didn't want to leave. The dinners they prepare are extraordinary and delicious. If you stay here, you must enjoy their dinners too. In fact, both breakfast and mid-day coffee are filled with homemade pastries. Do yourself a favor and add this to your Italy trip - you won't be disappointed!

Deruta was a little disappointing for me. Not all of the shops were open, maybe because of vacation. However the bed and breakfast did not disappoint. We reserved a suite so that our son had his own room and we shared a private bathroom. I recommend this option as the other requires you to use the bathroom across the hall. Beds were comfortable and towels plentiful. Our host was charming and provided a very nice breakfast. We had parking which can be very difficult in Deruta to find which allowed us to walk to restaurants for lunch and dinner.

Family owned and run with gracious hospitality. Our room offered total comfort – it was spacious, newly renovated and immaculately clean with a super mattress and bedding. The modern bathroom had an incredible shower. A beautiful pool on the property. Strong wi-fi signal. Breakfast was delivered to us which we enjoyed at a table just outside our room. Off the beaten path, a car is strongly advisable, we’ll definitely return the next time we’re in Deruta.

Find B&B “Le tre Muse” within the walls of the medieval town of ceramics. You will enjoy the panoramas and sunsets. Restaurants & cafes, public transport and a swimming pool are close by. There are footpaths and biking roads in the Tiber valley and the hills. The historic towns Perugia, Assisi, Todi, Foligno and Spoleto are easy to reach. At the Lago di Trasimeno you can swim and make boat trips.
This B&B is clean and tidy. Situated in the Medieval part of Deruta, a township renowned for its ceramic arts, you will experience the traditional Italian lifestyle by staying in the Borgo. If you want a quiet getaway and you are interested to partake in pottery lessons, or simply want to hide from the world for a while, this destination is for you. However, if climbing up and down stairs is not for you, please beware, you cannot escape the stairs of the Borgo if you stay there - the very nature of this part of Deruta is not friendly to the physically challenged.

Hotel Melody is functional and affordable. We paid about €50 for the night. The décor is dated, and WiFi was not reliable. However, the room was reasonably large, we had a small balcony with a nice view, and breakfast was adequate. The hotel faces a major road, so rooms on the back should be quieter.

We spent a wonderful vacation of 4 weeks in this place. Kids enjoyed the pool and visits of hares, squirrel and boars while my husband working in the yard and me hiking around. Marco and Barbara are exquisite people, so were the local genuine oil and wine they offered us. Deruta offers many beautiful hidden places, Derutese people are very available. Numerous medieval villages around always gave me nice surprises. And then, all the famous places easy to arrive: Perugia, Assisi, Todi, Marmore Waterfall...
