Normally don't give a bad review but had to mention this one.. Stayed here for 3 nights trying to have a nice getaway with my wife and first time in Denmark. Our stay was spoiled on the last day by the owner knocking on the door at 9.45am while my wife and I was naked in the bathroom trying to check out on time. He said the cleaner was coming dead at 10am and we needed to be out. We always check out on time the only reason we needed till exactly 10am was because we were cleaning up the place and only minimal work for the cleaners. We are very tidy ourselves The place is ok for the rate we paid probably because it wasn't school holidays.. Bed was sinking a bit and gave me a bad back, I like they have a filtered jug and clean towels Has a kitchen but no dishwasher. Spa bath didn't really work well we had one similar before and was much better at blowing. There is a creaking or knocking noise on the roof early morning which wakes you up, watch out for hoot hoot bird outside took me a while to find out what this noise was Good luck anyone else!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sensational Bed and Breakfast. Wonderful hosts who couldn’t do enough to help us with our visit to the area and as long term locals they shared their experiences to help us choose our destinations. Fantastic views, sunsets and breakfasts. Great conversations with people who love their work. It was a pleasure to stay at this very well appointed accommodation.

Our accommodation includes motel units with private balconies overlooking a tranquil rural scene, and 1 and 2 bedroom apartments with fully equipped kitchens. Very competitive rates. The Koorabup Motel is situated 1 km out of the Denmark town centre amongst the scenic surrounds of the karri forests with views of bushland from the rooms. The motel is within 5 minutes walking distance to the central shopping centre. Denmark is a popular tourist attraction famous for its natural beauty. The tranquil forests national parks and beaches attract many people each year with many more visiting Denmark for its wineries and galleries The Koorabup Motel is built in rammed earth to harmonise with the peaceful bush surrounds. The rammed earth keeps it cosy in winter and cool in summer. All of the units have space heaters for the cooler seasons.
Beautiful rammed earth walls, tall ceiling and plenty of space to spread out. Large balcony facing greenery at the back and convenient parking at the side of hotel. Easy walking distance to town (10 minutes) and restaurant/bottle shop conveniently located next door (1 minute). Very quiet location. Good value for money and we will definitely stay again in the future. Thank-you.

The southern coast of Western Australia is where the forest meets the sea. It is unique. It is green. It is nature at its best. Tall stands of karri and tingle interspersed with verdant rolling hills sweep down to the most dramatic and picturesque coastline - an idyll providing many natural attractions. It is perhaps the prettiest place in Western Australia.
We stayed at the chimes spa retreat this weekend for our anniversary. When we got there we were greeted by the lovely staff holding an umbrella for us so we could carry our bags in the rain. As soon as we walked in we were inlove with the cosy warm fire ( where they supply free wine in the evenings and the breath taking views (where free breakfast is served each morning) When we walked into our room they had made an anniversary gift for us with flowers, chocolates, a card, and champagne. The staff let us cook a bbq on the deck, supplied us with utensils, and set up a candle lit table for us in the restaurant. The grounds are beautiful and so are the staff. The bed is so comfortable and the spa is wonderful. They have a library where you can take board games and dvds to your room. Only regret is not booking into the day spa! Could not fault and we will be back ASAP.

The Floating Forest retreat is just over a kilometre to the town of Denmark in WA's Great Southern region, set amongst 22 acres of Tingle and Karri Forest. We have 3 beautiful cabins (1 large (Wood), 2 small (Tingle and Karri)) for couples and singles, all with stunning inlet and forest views; one 1 bedroom rammed earth cottage (Earth) with separate living space and balcony with inlet and forest views; and a newly refurbished 2 bedroom character Cottage (Jarrah) with many handcrafted wooden features that can accommodate up to 4 people. Very private, yet so close to Denmark and all the region has to offer.
We stayed for three nights in the Wood cabin - the view from every window was lovely (lots of natural light which was great) and the cabin was bright, modern and very comfortable. The wood fire was great (there is a reverse cycle heater also), we bought extra firewood in town as we used the fire every night. The bathroom was really modern and included a lovely free standing bath. The location was fantastic as it was only a few minute drive into town, but the accommodation is private and surrounded by trees (you can also see the water when it is clear). The kitchen was well equipped for simple meals. The furniture was all very comfortable and modern. We really enjoyed the stay and will stay again.

My significant other and I had the pleasesure of spending a few nights at 31 On The Terrace a few years ago (December 2019) and I still recall the experience since the proprietors are just about the sweetest people in town. So hat's off to Rob and Debbie if they're still running the place. We booked the smallest room there, and it was still great. Side note: Remember to bring a car if you visit Denmark, since most attractions are far away. We forgot and the proprietor took pity on us and gave us a lift to the local brewery (also worth a visit).
