This return visit to Curico we decided to try this specific de Almagro and we very happy we did. We had last year stayed in a higher price hotel just across the main divided street so can compare from experience. All aspects of the hotel would lead you to think it had just recently opened..Very Clean throughout, huge spacious room with all usual amenities..yes small fridge, large bathroom, Safe, ..very large black screen not sure what that is perhaps something they call a TV, great view of mountains, super WiFi and a very reasonable price via Hotels.com. A UniMar is a 5 minute walk, lots of great restaurants very near, though the Chef in hotel Restaurant served up 3 different delicious meals last evening, and they even allowed us to bring our own wine. The staff are genuinely friendly and a Huge Thank You to Benjamin at Front Desk for his up front sincere approach and help. Great person to have for First Impressions of a Hotel. His English was superior to my Spanish. If back next Canadian winter it is here we will seek the same room.

Located off San Francisco street, Radisson Hotel Curicó is minutes from major vineyards and fruit producers in the Curicó Valley. The city's name originally meant "Land of Black Water," emphasizing how important its natural surroundings are to its culture. With our proximity to the buoyant commercial district, you can easily attend business meetings and then explore nearby attractions like the city's main square, Plaza de Armas, home to exotic plants, ornamental water fountains and historical sculptures. We are also close to Alameda, a park filled with gardens and lush trees. Travel just under 100 kilometers to Vichuquén Lake to fish, water-ski or windsurf, or book a wine tour to visit 16 area vineyards.
We stayed at the Radisson for 2 weeks. Many of the staff speak English. Located 2 hours south of Santiago, you should know a few basic words of Spanish. The hotel was quite a pleasant stay. Good wifi 9. Fast room service 10. Good food & bar 11. Excellent A/C 12. Fridge, iron, in room 13. Specialty coffee counter at the entrance Negatives: 1. Only change sheets once per week 2. No soap bar for the bathroom sink 3. Not enough parking stalls

Experience Chile's wine country in the company of Vicente, a wine lover and poet, and Ruth van Waerebeek, an international acclaimed chef. Join us for an unforgettable culinary adventure in Mapuyampay, an intimate valley in the Andean foothills, at only 200 km south of Santiago, 60 km from the famous wine valleys of Santa Cruz and 40 km from Curico valley. We offer hands-on cooking classes, mostly prepared with the fruits, vegetables and herbs from our organic gardens. Forays into the local vineyards, on bike or on a horse back, can be arranged. If you like to experience something unique, far off the beaten paths, if you like to observe birds, love nature, like to play with food and sip Chilean wines, Mapuyampay is your destiny.
Delightful and relaxed stay with top notch food. The location is in a rural setting couple of hours south of Santiago, in an area with fruit tree farms and vineyards. The lodge has six rooms with plenty of fruit trees on the property (we visited at the peak of the fruit season) and a lovely garden + swimming pool. We spent three days and enjoyed all of it. The hosts are Ruth (who is a chef) and Vicente, who made the stay very comfortable and pleasant. There are five dogs as well which was a bonus for us. Breakfast was included in the room rate and we opted to have dinner there all three nights. Very good decision. The food is exceptional and the menu changed each night adding to the anticipation of the meals. To do justice to the magnificent cooking we skipped lunch for those days! After dinner, we did some stargazing sitting out on the lawn and looking at the southern sky. If you are looking for a break from seeing the sights and having a quiet, relaxing time, this is the place. There are some sights an hour's drive away, we did the Colchagua Museum in Santa Cruz (excellent small museum) and a Winery tour which Ruth booked for us.

Stopped in Curico for an overnight while returning to Santiago. The town is a little gritty and industrial, but the Hotel Boutique Raices transcends it all. Though an older property, the hotel is well-kept, clean and an exceptionally friendly staff. We ended up eating dinner at the hotel and had a delicious meal on the patio. Highly recommend for value, cleanliness, friendliness and amenities.

Lovely staff, very friendly. Good location for event in Curico centre. Hotel is dated but comfortable. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious but could do with some updating/ minor repairs. Comfortable bed. No cot for babies available. Was fine for one night stay. Room service was available in the evening, nice sandwiches and desserts.

We stayed at the Casona el Sauce twice, once before and one on the return from a bike tour. The owners were absolutely fantastic; friendly and helpful in every way. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast superb. The location is perfect - close to the city centre but you would not know it from the surroundings. If ever I am back in Curico, I will definitely stay there.

Thought we would save a few bucks so the wife booked us here. The furniture, cabinets, etc all were made from very inferior materials — the rooms depressed my boy to the point that he now hates the country. My shower and bathroom on the submarine were luxurious compared to this place. The lobby doorbell is incredibly loud and rang on average twice every night after 1AM waking everyone in the hotel up. Rooms are centered around a central courtyard that is not available to guests and partying neighbors will rain noise down on top of you if you dare open up your windows to catch a breeze. There is no air conditioning.

Going to Sta. Marta is like entering an Isabel Allende's book, the house is a Chilean treasure! The hosts are wonderful and really make an effort to make you feel at home. We stayed for 2 nights, 5th to 7th of December with my husband, 2 kids and parents and this home is definitely kids friendly, the pool is amazing and everything is very clean, food was great, specially Señora Marta's Pisco sour! The property is located right by the highway, so you get to hear the cars at night, there's a bathroom for every bedroom by the corridor, the rooms don't have windows, so there's no fresh air and the beds need an upgrade for the money you pay, but if you're like me and look for a unique place, go for it! The property is great! Located about 1 hour drive from Santa Cruz and 2 mins from Curico was longer than expected drive to Apostolle and Montes, but the house itself was the holiday break, as the kids enjoyed the pool and play. Thanks for a lovely stay, I'm definitely recommending this stay and their more than friendly and great hosts!
