Welcome to the Culver Hotel, where classic meets contemporary and history is reimagined. With artful design and European ambiance, our 1924 National Landmark stands proudly in the heart of Downtown Culver City, one of Los Angeles' most vibrant and walkable neighborhoods. Whether you are visiting from close or afar, we invite you to celebrate the art of travel in an authentic and enchanting setting. Discover more than a hotel, we are a destination where people come together to enjoy curated experiences, explore local culture, and reconnect with old-world elegance. Whether you are dining at our restaurant, hosting an event, joining us for live music and cocktails, or staying in one of our vintage-inspired guest rooms, we can't wait to welcome you to our legendary property.
This "luxury" hotel is not. While I understand that COVID has caused some challenges for the hospitality industry it has been 2.5 years and most hotels have been able to get their acts together. They do not have valet parking and instead say to park at the Trader Joes parking lot down the street. They do not have room service, not even coffee or tea downstairs. They do not offer any amenities at all. The room was tiny, the bathroom minuscule. The price was over $400 per night. Ridiculous.

Just off the 405, we are only 3 miles north of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Loyola Marymount University is just down the road. Check out Sony Pictures Entertainment and the Jurassic Museum of Technology, just 15 minutes away. Downtown LA is about 14 miles away, while popular spots like Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier are just a 20-minute drive.
I stayed here for a family/tourist visit to LA. It is a 20 to 30 minute ride to Hollywood, Santa Monica , Venice & other locations. The lobby is clean, smells great & has a nice open-area bar & restaurant. The rooms were clean, nice bathroom & stand alone shower, with nice toiletries. Large tv, good size closet, great water pressure. Most of all, I felt safe for it being in a large city. The front desk staff was friendly & they offered us bottled water, and also had a small snack shop. Altogether, a pleasant stay.

This hotel hits all the points I look for in a hotel - great vibe, interesting design, walkable location centrally located in a city (Culver City is a hidden gem in LA that is sure to not be hidden much longer!), incredible food and cocktails at your fingertips, baller gym, GREAT shower pressure and of course, extremely comfortable bed (not to mention waking up to picturesque city scape views, without any noise!). And on top of all that - the staff and service is warm and friendly. The only place I'll stay when in LA now!

I happened to come across this property and really enjoyed my stay. It is easy to access and just a few minutes from the airport and quite close to downtown Culver City. The indoor courtyard is lovely (as shown on the photographs). The room is comfortable--more for one person than two--with a spacious desk, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. The lights, blinds, fans/AC are all controlled from a panel for ease and practicality, although there are also switches in the room. The Wi-Fi was superb. Breakfast is light but well staged. I really enjoyed the set up, convenience, and decour of this hotel. I strongly recommend it.

Recently dubbed as one of the hottest new hotels in the world by Condé Nast Traveler, "2019 Hot List", Palihotel Culver City is a boutique and intimate hotel, tucked away in Los Angeles’ coolest new hang out spots. Located in the heart of downtown Culver City on Van Buren Place and steps away from Rush Street, Palihotel Culver City continues in the spirit of the former West End Hotel, a 1920’s Boarding House. The building’s Twenties façade with its Deco signage, street numbers, and light fixtures feels both Parisian and classic Hollywood; the lobby has vintage artwork, ceramic tiled floors and striped wallpaper, the building is fully reimagined and serves as an inspiration throughout. Honoring the cities rich cinematic roots. Explore French cuisine at Simonette with local ingredients and traditional flavors inspired by the traditions of classic French neighborhood cafes. Palihotel Culver City delivers a bespoke approach to seamlessly blend into the vibrant neighborhood! Cashless property, A valid credit card, and ID are required at the time of check-in.
We loved our courtyard room at the Palihotel. Super cute and chic. Love the restaurant as well. Highly recommend! Nice that it is a little off the main roads of Culver City, but only a very quick walk to get into the center of the action. Parking is tricky. We used the underground lot at the end of Main St, a quick walk and less expensive than valet.

The location for this hotel was great. Great parking, on-site Metro Cafe. The room had a funny smell, musty almost and the bed was not at all comfortable. It was a good hotel but the maintenance and comfort were not to standard for the price per night.

Trip Advisor should update their listing since the Half Moon Motel has become the Galaxy Inn for sometime. It is a real old-style motel with two stories and rooms opening out onto walkway, with access to the 2cond floor only by stairways. The room was clean, fairly large, and the king size bed quite good. However, it is on a rather busy street, for which you can't fault the hotel. There was a lot of traffic noise, and the typical through the wall heater was noisy when running. There is no waiting area, free coffee, computer for use, or anything like that, but only an attendant behind armored glass like you were dealing with a bank. I wanted to print a boarding pass, but they said that wasn't possible. In general, staff didn't seem particularly friendly. I didn't have a car, but parking looked like it might be an issue. All in all, a cheap decent place to stay, but a bit noisy and no welcoming waiting area and front office.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Sheraton during our McDonald's PACE Training Session. I've read the reviews and I totally have a different point of view. The rooms are not outdated. They're rather spacious. The shower has the hottest water ever. Love, Love, Love This The breakfast buffet is $18 a person. It's worth it. The hostesses are superb. They literally wait on you hand and foot. You want for nothing. Simply Professional. The meet rooms are spacious but cold. You do have control of the thermostat. The tv Chanel's in the rooms are limited but I spent a lot of time using YouTube music. Westfield Mall is literally a walk across the street. Dining, shopping and even Gold's Gyn is located there. I visited the bar in my last night. The bar tender recreated his version of the Bahama Mama $14. It was worth it. You can actually sit there and enjoy the NFL Schedule Release in peace. The night before, not so much. It was crazy full. I'd recommend this Marriott Hotel to travels in CA.

I had anticipated a 'super basic' room when I booked for one night in Culver City. Don't get me wrong - the Sunburst doesn't have fancy extras or facilities. What I did get was a kind welcome, a spacious and well laid out room, free parking, a very comfortable bed and a good night's rest. Sadly, due to Covid precautions there was no breakfast included but that would have just been a nice addition that just wasn't necessary, given the circumstances. A short walk took us to very nice eateries and the host very kindly let us keep the car parked at the motel for an extra hour while we had brunch. The only thing I miss, and this is so minor, is a coffee facility in the room. There is a microwave, which is no doubt very useful to some, and a very useful fridge/freezer. However, this is so minor and a regular thing with motels (I gather). I would absolutely stay here again.
