Reviewed By bettyIllinoisWe always pick La Quinta when traveling with our dog. This particular La Quinta was excellent. The front desk very friendly, the hotel is very clean. You could not tell there had been a pet in our room. Rooms are clean and comfortable but the bed linens were what surprised us the most since they were quality sheets. The area has several eating options in walking distance. The area around the hotel has extensive areas to walk a dog in safe country side environment. I left our extra car fob and on the drive back I received a call to let me know the fob was found. I wish I could remember the name of the young lady I spoke with. She was so helpful asked for my address and informed me the manager would mail me the fob. I received the fob and can not tell you how customer service like this is why regardless if we are traveling with the dog we will definitely make this La Quinta our favorite when driving to Florida.

Reviewed By BornToTravel1982Not the best and not the worst. Pros first would be the room was clean and updated, the gentleman at the front desk upon checkin was very friendly and cordial. The cons. Rooms do not have a USB hookup anywhere. But main cons were beds are pretty firm and not super comfortable, the rooms are very loud. You can hear the person next door walking, doors slamming and every single vehicle that passes by. That is with the AC running and a noise machine going. Definitely a negative with the noise limiting rest. The hotel was conveniently located and felt safe. Like I said not the best and not the worst. Would probably opt for a few dollars more for the new Hampton inn next door.

Reviewed By susanwaugh2022Stayed at the HLClub Playa Blanca for 10 nights in March 2022. This was are 2nd visit to the this hotel and again we had a fabulous time. Accommodation was very spacious and clean. Food was good with plenty of choice. Staff excellent.Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Entertainment team great tried to involve everyone in activities. All round great hotel .

This is the GoD awful nastiest room I have ever stayed in and I paid to stay there. 180 was my total when I looked at my bank account transaction. They charged a fee for my child and it was outrageous. The sink lifter was permanently closed and the toilet never flushed :( I have my PMS so I am sure they saw blood and everything else. The beds were 2 queen and they were rotten. The box spring was crusty and falling apart and the mattress was lumpy and uneven. There was 3 tissues in a box nothing on the selves (toilet paper tissues soap lotions) NOTHINg is was bare. I have allergies and I didn’t bring tissues so I was looking forward to caring for myself for a day before traveling again. NEVER AGAIN. We did go to the front desk and ask about the 180 charge for the room and she told me (nothing in writing that I was getting a 25 credit for the plumbing and pretended like they didn’t know about it) the. She never credited me back the 25 service (just in case) charge for my baby. Also, the beds didn’t work out for kids to sleep that are young. They can roll off into the floor. I tried to contact the headquarters and the general manager never replied back. Tip off! They rip people off! I didn’t even get any rest and woke up more tired than I was.

Reviewed By cdpd119We booked here because the reviews were good. I cannot understand that!! This is a must avoid facility. We cannot do stairs. When we checked in, we found out this facility has no elevators!! Because of this, we were put in a first floor room. When we opened the door, instant headaches! The room stunk to high heaven. It smelled like it had been a smoking room, and we must have no smoking. Although it was labeled no smoking, I believe it had been heavily smoked in, and perhaps strong chemicals were then used to try to eradicate or cover up the smoke. INSTANT headaches that lingered for a couple of hours.....we did not even move our luggage in. We went directly to the front desk, and the staff member did not seem very concerned. She was not rude, but very nonchalant. She said, oh, they use strong chemicals to clean....I had to be very assertive to make her understand that we already, just by sticking our heads in, had bad headaches. Whether it was from chemicals or smoke did not matter. We could not possibly stay in that room. We asked for a different one, and she had nothing to offer. The good news is that we were not charged, but beware....and who knew that major hotels existed without elevators, anyway?

Under construction. Moved to 3 different rooms. Remote didn’t work. Fire alarm for 10 min. At night. Noisy at night
Reviewed By sandi4706Shouldn’t be operating during construction fiasco. The fire alarm going off was ridiculous and deafening!!!! We couldn’t take our hands off our ears, it was so painfully loud! The fact that they had to move us 3 time due to beds not made, TV not working, etc, is unacceptable. Certainly NOT worth over $100. I’m asking for partial refund! The lady at the front desk was wonderful and I felt bad for her… she was so embarrassed
