Excellent personal service and accommodation for visiting the Virgin of Covadonga Sanctuary.
Reviewed By Mario GWe arrived to Casa Aspron by mistake thinking that it was located close to Cangas de Onis. Fortunately, our mistake gave us the opportunity to enjoy the excellent personal service and advise of Jorge and to visit the Virgin of Covadonga Sanctuary firsthand. We highly recommend consider this apparently simple but great place to stay if visiting the Sanctuary or just as night stay. However, you may have to take into consideration that the rooms do not have air conditioning that could be an issue during hot summer nights.

Reviewed By tiagojerOutstanding breakfast made with love. Very close to one of the parkings where you can hop on/off the bus that takes you to the Lakes. It’s not that far from the coast though. You can also have you dinner in a very familiar and traditional restaurant.

It also has 5 Meeting Rooms different capacity for all types of business meetings and all kinds of social events. The Gran Hotel Pelayo is on the pilgrimage route to “Santuario de Covadonga” and “Los Lagos”, surrounded by mountains and valleys make it the ideal place to practice mountain sports.

Reviewed By mA5246LFdanielmI booked a stay and had some follow up questions - emailed multiple times and called yet never got answer. I then had to change my plans and was charged a hefty cancellation fee when I sent a cancellation 1 day too late. I understand that I cancelled too late but that would not have happened if I had actually got a response in the first place. Email reply that they never received anything from me although I still had copies of my enquiries

Reviewed By CARACTERSin duda alguna, ha sido una de las mejores casas en las que nos hemos hospedado por muchos motivos. El principal, fue la amabilidad de su dueño, José, que nos hizo sentir en todo momento como si estuviéramos en nuestra casa. Fue un excelente anfitrión y un buen guía para conocer la zona. Por ello, no tenemos más que palabras de agradecimiento hacia él, y como no, un buen recuerdo de los días que pasamos allí. Por otro lado, decir que la casa, que consta de cuatro habitaciones, era encantadora y muy limpia. Gracias a que estábamos a pocos minutos de la Basílica de Covadonga, pudimos andar por la zona y descansar, porque no se oía ni un ruido, solo el sonido del riachuelo que pasaba por allí. Y por último, comentar que los desayunos, como han opinados otros viajeros, es muy abundante y competo. Si volvemos a Asturias, sin duda, volveríamos a hospedarnos aquí. Un saludo desde Tenerife y hasta pronto.

Nice budget hotel
Reviewed By Ardi1985Hotel Auseva is a rather old-fashioned budget hotel, but shortly put: it delivers everything that you need and expect. The rooms are a bit small, but clean. The bathroom facilities may be a bit old as well, but overall hygiene is good. Best aspect about the hotel is its great value for money. Only thing I miss is a fridge in the room and maybe airconditioning (although it cools.down nicely in the evening). The village of Covadonga is crowded in the daytime (lots of Spanish tourists) but turns into a ghost town in evening (though you can still go out to eat...all by yourself).
