Good budget hotel
Reviewed By MILES KStayed here as a stop over before we went on to Utah beach. Good location with a few restaurants walking distance. Rooms were clean and of a good size, with all the needed facilities. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Reviewed By Caroline LOlivier the owner was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were pleased with the room it was spotless and fresh. Usb points very handy and the Toilet and Shower were very clean. Comfy bed. The hotel is in easy walking distance to centre where you can find good restuarants, Tabacs, Shops and a stunning public garden. A beautiful City with so much to see and read with Historical photos and summarys around. Very well priced for the standard and a good breakfast to start the day. We will be returning.

A Bed & Breakfast without the breakfast
Reviewed By Paul SThis is a poor excuse for a B & B. We arranged to have breakfast on our first morning. The owner was not up consequently we had to go to Coutances to find a breakfast. So did another couple staying at the property. The picture on the website clearly shows an outdoor table and chairs but they were not there. The shared kitchen, although large, was poorly designed. There was no draining board. It did not have an oven and was short of kitchen equipment. If more than two people stayed at the same time at this property then it would be impossible for more than one to adequately prepare a meal. There was only one socket for the kettle, the coffee machine and the toaster. It was placed in poor position. The bedroom lacked furniture, The internal bathroom was in fact a wet-room with no windows. Consequently the bedroom was damp all the time as the extractor fan was not powerful enough to extract the moisture from the bathroom. There was no hair dryer. The walk to the centre of Coutances was 1.1 miles, downhill at first the a steep climb into the town. Coutances did not have a good selection of restaurants. We had to drive several miles to find good eating places. I would not advise anyone to stay at this poor B & B if you intend to be self catering as it does not represent value for money
