I arrived (2 nights booked) with my family (wife and 2 children) to find the pool unusable due to lack of cleaning/ debris/ water not sanitary. They said they would have to clean it. The shower also would not drain. Called the front desk and they basically said we're booked to 100%, "Good Luck," We have no room to move you to. I discovered this after being at an outdoor event with horses all afternoon and finding my 6 year old standing in water which would not drain (absolutely disgusting!!!!). I went to Walmart and purchased Draino ($20) and Scrubbing Bubbles ($8) to try and open the drain up. I treated the drain twice and finally got it draining at 11:30. Kids showered and then the adults, but still a very slow drain. I contacted the Customer Care and was told Sharice would be the manager I needed to talk to. (She was not at work the entire stay) I was also told that maintenance would look at the shower the next day. The next evening we returned to the pool to find it in the same condition. It was full of organic debris and other trash. You still could not see the bottom of the pool. So another complaint was lodged, but it was not able to be used the entire stay. The shower also remained the same. I could not tell if it had been touched by maintenance. I ended up treating the shower twice more and re-cleaning it to make it usable. I was told my room was to be discounted. However, 50 dollars off a $200+ night room when I have to buy the stuff to make the room usable is absolutely insulting. I spent 2 hours of my time and $28+ dollars fixing hotel issues for 70-ish dollars off total????? WTF! And to top it all off I was staying on the 4th floor and the elevator wasn't working..... The entire stay was a disaster. The only reason this stay wasn't a 1 is because the room was clean and the breakfasts were warm.

I've stayed in this property a number of times over the years, and my most recent may be my last. The hotel isn't that old, at least in hotel years, yet it seems to need a refresh. Stayed one night on business, and upon entering the hotel, the lobby is well appointed and smells wonderful. The person checking me in had a great demeanor with the guest just prior to me, but when he turned his attention my way, it was "ID and credit card". No welcome to the property, no thank you for being a Platinum member, nothing, just a rude interaction. Requested a room on the top floor, per my profile, and the best they could do was the second floor although the property was certainly not full. My guestroom was surface clean, but it could have used a good vacuuming as there were bits and pieces from previous guests on the floor. The climate control unit was extremely loud, and I woke up with congestion - presumably from an unclean air unit. One thing that struck me was the incredibly small television in the room. Today, most hotels in this category have a nice television with great resolution. Here, you get transported back to the 90s with a small screen and old technology. The shower was nice, but the soap/shampoo are the pump style in the actual shower. It's tough to shower without soap (the pump was empty), which was the case for me, but luckily I had a very small bar soap to use. Sleep quality was great, and the breakfast staff were extremely pleasant. That said, there was a leaky ceiling directly above the breakfast counter, which looked to have been there for a very long time. The attendants just kept wiping away the water, as it seemed this was an acceptable practice. Lastly, I was somewhat concerned about my safety while at this property. HUGE LED spotlights illuminate the parking lot and the signs stating that user is parking at their own risk. When going to and from my vehicle, I found myself constantly looking over my shoulder. Just not a secure feeling overall. There aren't a ton of good places to stay in Conyers, and this one is still fairly decent as long as you know what you are getting into. Next time, I will explore staying a bit further out in hopes of finding better accommodations.

We arrived around 8:30pm 7 April 2022, notified the desk clerk at 9pm the bathroom light was out only as an FYI, at 10:30 our phone was ringing. The desk clerk asked us to change rooms because housekeeping had not cleaned the room. The room was cleaned properly. Their internet, and associated systems were out due to a prior storm so I'm guessing they were unable to keep up with who cleaned what. No compensation was offered for waking me up or for having to shower by cell phone flashlight. Very frustrating stay. The breakfast "buffet" was a joke. Just enough to say they had one.

The room was clean and comfortable. Checking in the lady was efficient but was void of personality. The WiFi phased in and out - was only 4 rooms down from lobby. Great WiFi if you stand out in parking lot. Am a business traveler and am in need of WiFi. Shampoo bottles left on vanity were 1/2 used. While not a terrible place. They need to up their game. If you need WiFi - don’t stay here.

We stopped for an over night stay passing through. The desk person was super nice.. unfortunately, it was down hill from there. The room was dirty, dirty sheets, towels, floors. The smell was moldy cigarettes. We talked it over, packed up our stuff and went to the west side of Atlanta.

WoodSpring Suites Atlanta Conyers is an extended stay hotel. Our hotels are comfortable, our rooms are well-priced. If you need a hotel for a few nights, a week, or longer - you'll save more money the longer you stay with us. Extended stay hotels are different in amenities from traditional hotels. - This location is a pet-friendly hotel and a 100% smoke-free hotel - 24/7 front desk - Appliances included in in-room kitchens with other items available - Three suite designs to choose from for one-to-four guests - Free basic wi-fi and parking - Guest laundry room and vending available at all locations 24/7 - Weekly rates, long-stay/monthly rates, and nightly rates available
I was sent here on business, and the training facility provided lodging at Woodspring. I would have gotten the heck out of this place after an hour if left to my own devices. I estimate that most of the clientele here have been evicted from their rental properties in Atlanta proper or elsewhere for living and behaving badly at wherever it is that they came from. I want to be fair about this review so I will state what I absolutely know. First. All of those reviews about friendly, cordial desk staff I do not understand. I would characterize the staff as not hostile or insolent at best, indifferent at worst. If at all possible, avoid this place for the sake of your health and comfort. Management of this place does not care or else they would do whatever it took to bring the conditions to a standard that humans would accept.
