Small VVF with amazing staff and a very nice location
Reviewed By hcalinBeing the only “foreigners” in the village for 2 weeks we had a special feeling! The VVF spirit is present in every activity proposed by the well trained staff! Everyone is friendly and very helpful ! The facilitarea are good and provide good alternatives for kids and adults alike. Guided tours around the region including the famous Collonges-la-Rouge village (short walking distance) local markets in Meyssac and only 30 min drive away from Brive la Gaillarde. The village is situated in a oak forest and kids can play safely around. Cars are not allowed inside the residential area . There is something do for everyone all day long. On site baby daycare and full program for maxi-boo’s and teenagers. The bistro and little restaurant offer decent food, a good selection of drinks, including local wines and a wide selection of craft beers from a near by brewery called “Brasserie Corrézienne”. Shopping, banks and restaurants are available in the near by village. A very quiet holiday in a typical “corezzienne” landscape! Merci beaucoup à l’équipe VVF & BoOt’Chouette! ?????

Reviewed By waterworth19The B&B is located in delightful red sandstone buildings overlooking farmland with views across the valley to the south west. Our host, Guy was charming, friendly and extremely helpful with recommendations for where to dine, what to visit and where to go to sort out a malfunctioning camera. Up a country lane above Collonges la Rouge, we liked the look and feel of the place so much as we sat in the garden, shaded by a huge tree with home-made lemonade that we changed our plans and decided to book for an extra night. Breakfast with fresh bread and pastries and homemade fruit compote is served by Guy in the courtyard – delicious. Room and bathroom are 'rustic modern', simple but comfortable with modern conveniences. Well worth the find.

Reviewed By Vicky_s102This hotel is perfectly situated , right in centre of small town. The rooms are basic but very comfortable. It was freezing outside but we were comfortably warm inside. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, speaking good English. It happened that the town was having a special Soup cooking completion the night we arrived which made our short stay even more special and enjoyable. Breakfast was simple and enough so see us on our way each day. The evening meal was changed to an alternate venue which was not up to standard but our hosts can’t be blamed for that.

Reviewed By Hanneke WSitue pas loin d'un village jolie, une camping avec une belle piscine, les places pour les tentes et campers prive avec des plantes et arbres. Dichtbij een mooi oud plaatsje, een keurige schone camping. De kampeerplaatsen zijn schaduwrijk en rondom bomen. Voldoende privacy. Fijn zwembad A nice camping with enough space. Trees around the campingplaces for shadow and there's enough privacy. Also, it is very clean. Good swimming pool. The camping is easy to find near a beautiful village.
