The Hampton Inn Clinton is the newest addition to the Knoxville-Clinton area. Located just off of I-75 and Charles G. Sevier Boulevard in Clinton, TN: just 20 minutes north of downtown Knoxville and the University of Tennessee. The area offers many outdoor options. Visit Norris Lake and go boating, or go fishing & hiking at the Norris Dam State Park. You can go antiquing in downtown Clinton, or go see a football game at the University of Tennessee. All rooms include either one king or two queen beds, free wireless HSIA, small fridge and microwave, 42" LCD HD Television, comfortable room furnishings and more. All king rooms are equipped with shower stalls and all double queen rooms are equipped with tubs as well. All guests receive the a free hot breakfast and a complimentary weekday local newspaper. A 24 hour fitness center is for guest use as well as a 24 hour Snack Shop. If you forget a document, no problem.
Clean comfy and a bit noisy
Reviewed By Jennifer BWe had a King room on the first floor. Unfortunately, it was 2 doors down from the exit and the room is not soundproofed well. Every time someone went in or out of that door (alllll night), we heard it. It’s also a pet friendly hotel and we were awakened at 7:30 one morning by a dog barking. The owner apparently had no desire to quiet him either. Not the hotel’s fault, but something to keep in mind. The room was very clean, the bedding was lush, and the breakfast bar was fantastic. There were hot choices, cereal, items for the toaster and a waffle iron. There was also yogurt and fruit available. There were also grab and go bags for people who preferred that. The Sunday night we arrived was super bowl Sunday and the staff had even put out plates of cookies and things for people who wanted to watch it in the lobby. Every staff member we came across was friendly. We would definitely stay again, probably just in a more quiet room.

Reviewed By soccerdad1994We stay at Holiday Inn Express because the rooms are typically nice and clean, the beds tend to bed comfortable, the hotels are typically quiet and the breakfasts have good options including eggs and sausage. This HIE is dog friendly so it worked for us on this trip. They are renovating right now which means all the rooms will be brand new. It was not an issue but I would guess it could be noisy during the day. We stayed one night with no issues.

Reviewed By MFrench369Don’t let the fun decor as you walk in fool you. Worst breakfast- rubbery eggs and even the oatmeal was bad! Housekeeping was basically nonexistent. Requested at breakfast time that one of the beds’ linens be changed and a new set of towels due to being sick during the night. We returned to our room at 10:30pm to find nothing done. Threw the linens and towels in the hallway. No apologies from staff/management

Dreadful!
Reviewed By Digbydog5We often stay at Red Roof Inns when we need a short overnight stay and are traveling with our dog. Unfortunately, I was in a rush and didn’t check the reviews for this one before I booked. It is run down, and I would never stay here again. The cold water runs hot. The ice machine didn’t work, so the front desk gave me a bag of ice—in a Walmart bag! Not very sanitary. Lumpiest pillows I’ve ever had, and they were gray, although once white, I think. We had two bath towels, one a little larger than a hand towel. Both were threadbare. It was the first time in a long time that I've stayed in a hotel/motel that did not have a hair dryer. There was hair on the bathroom counter. I spilled a little water on the floor, and when I wiped it up, the paper towel was black. People were very noisy arriving at night and through the night. At 5 am, we were awoken by a woman banging on the window next door, screaming to be let in. At 6 am, the couple next door were in an expletive ridden fight. On the bright side, the evening and morning front desk personnel were very pleasant.

Worse than poor!
Reviewed By finseekerBedding was not changed! One elderly person to clean a 3 story hotel so very dirty and unsanitary, Embarrassment for Wyndham and TN Dept of Health . Not worth $1 per night! First room assigned had mold as well. Manager could not be bothered to return request to call us.
