Reviewed By JanetcecThe location is excellent, but this property is in desperate need of renovations! Peeling wallpaper, inadequate lighting and funky smells. Don’t count on using the fold out bed - it was sagging and no linens were provided anyway. Staff was very friendly.

Reviewed By MicheleV75I highly recommend Asa Ransom House for its over-the-top elegant rooms and dining facility. The period decorations will melt your heart. I felt like a Colonial Lady in my comfortable four poster bed with canopy, down pillows, quilts and fireplace. Breakfasts were equally elegant with fine China and cloth napkin service. The food was plenty and delicious. Guests choose their full breakfast and time of service the night before from a menu with a number of options. The bathrooms are spacious with fine soaps and bath crystals, a towel warmer and plump towels. The grounds invite guests to linger outside on the porch with tea or stroll the manicured grounds. The old mill pond twinkles with a small fountain. The Inn is very quiet and restful in the evenings. For photos of the rooms, see the website. Guests may choose their room. Our room, Blue Willow, was next door to the Housekeeping room and a faint hum could be heard from the ventilation system when using our bath, but other than that, our room was silent except for calming night sounds from the grounds outside, like you'd hear on a meditation tape. You'll find the Inn owners and other guests to be friendly when you linger over coffee and a complimentary paper at breakfast. If you visit in March or April, there is a special 3-for-2 night offer.

The Clarence Inn is a locally family owned extended stay property located in the quaint historic town of Clarence. Elie and Diana Harfouche are the owners and operators of this small family business. They have been proudly serving their guests for over 25 years. The Clarence Inn is best known for its home away from home experience where everyone is treated like family. Conveniently located 15 minutes from Buffalo and 28 miles from Niagara Falls. The Buffalo Niagara International Airport is an easy 15 minute drive as well as easy access to the Interstate 90. Our guests can enjoy a quiet suburban setting with many locally owned niche shops from antiques to artisan bakeries and coffee shops. The variety of family owned restaurants give our guests the ability to enjoy local cuisine just a short drive away. We are also conveniently located to wonderful points of interest in the Greater Buffalo area, such as, Our Lady of Victory Basilica, Darwin Martin House, Our Lady of Fatima Shrine in Lewiston, as well as the large park systems throughout Western New York.

Reviewed By Helmut SSaw picture on tripadvisor and motel website. Looked nice...but turned out to be owners home. Motel is old drive up small rooms. Needs some updating but has new carpets, comfortable beds, clean. At $89 a bit over priced.

One night is enough
Reviewed By joesindorfWe stayed here while on a long road trip... just needed some sleep. It was the cheapest option that popped up on TripAdvisor... so we booked it, with the app claiming there was only one room left. I think there were many rooms left. People don't compete for rooms here. Bed was too soft, room was small and odd. Extension cords strung to lights, loud refrigerator, window unit a/c... but it was only for one night and we were so tired that we slept well. Don't know what people are talking about when they give this place high ratings... they must be family members or employees.

Fireplace Jacuzzi Room

Upon registering I was told the room I specifically requested & had always stayed in was NOT available. I loved the layout of that room, canopy bed & heart shaped jacuzzi! The room they gave me had neither. I made the best of it until I decided to use the jacuzzi & found it had ants running all over it! I Redressed, complained to management & they requested I left for a fews hours while they sprayed to kill them. Fours hours later I returned to a room full of dead ants & it smelled of chemicals including my belongings. I packed up to just go home, stopped to talk to management & expected a "sorry" & at least a partial return of my money. I received neither I would NEVER return or reccommend this place to anyone!!!!
