The service is the best you can ever find in any hotel - warm, attentive and extremely friendly. They go out of the way to assist you. The location for the hotel was also excellent. There is parking a few minutes walk away. The room was lovely. Large. Bathroom was also very good and large. Location is also excellent. Unfortunately, the room cleaning is not the best. The fridge had what looked like the previous guests’ leftover milk and water. The bathroom bin was not cleared after on our 3rd day. The carpet was slightly stained in the room and along the corridor. Otherwise, the stay would have been perfect.

Premier Inn Cirencester is nestled in the peaceful market town of Cirencester - the perfect base for exploring the rolling green hills of the Cotswolds. Get your walking boots on for a stroll along a winding footpath, marvel at Cirencester's Roman amphitheatre or make a splash at Cotswold Water Park. If you fancy a spot of shopping, browse the nooks and crannies of Black Jack Street for some rare finds. After a day exploring, sit down to a hearty dinner just next door at our Beefeater restaurant and then relax in your room with a 42" flat screen TV and luxury kingsize Hypnos bed.
Very convenient location, spacious room with very comfortable bed. Very quiet, despite being close to a busy Macdonald's and two supermarkets. 3 excellent nights sleep. Helpful, courteous, good humoured staff. Plenty of free car parking on site. Only minor dissatisfactions (certainly didn't spoil our pleasant stay) were that although the towels provided were clean they were quite rough on the skin, and the sound from the ventilation was a little intrusive at night, although it did go off after a while. Not a problem for us, but might be for families with very young children.

We were so looking forward to staying at Barnsley House based on it’s good reviews. The House itself is beautiful but even better were the stunning gardens. Absolutely stunning and we would recommend a visit most definitely to the gardens. Staff were friendly and welcoming The not so great was our suite The Potting Shed. It was in need of refurbishment and TLC as it was so scruffy around the edges. The outside area had a v nice table and chairs, but no chair cushions. Weeds around the patio were not impressive nor were the old fag ends. TVs didn’t work properly even after staff assistance. No turn down service on first night and no, we didn’t have Do Not Disturb up. Room service arrived the next Morning was excellent / beautifully presented in a hamper. Second morning just a breakfast tray missing orange juice, butter and preserves. Bathroom in need of a re-do. Very worn out and a poor shower that needs a limescale clean. Finally overcharged £100 but easily sorted. To sum up, we were disappointed. To be charged £700 plus a night we have certain expectations . Sadly these were not met. This review may seem harsh but we paid handsomely which we felt was not worth it

Stratton House Hotel is located on the outskirts of the Cotswold market town of Cirencester. The hotel is privately owned and seeks to offer you the best of both town and country house charm. We are in a great location for the town centre and the local motorway network, yet our elegant building and tranquil gardens make you feel you are 'away from it all'. We offer a superb restaurant and bar, 44 en-suite bedrooms, and excellent facilities for business meetings. We are also the perfect setting for your wedding or special celebration with a choice of function rooms, civil wedding licence and our specialist events co-ordinator. Our focus is on friendly service with that personal touch. Whether you are here for business or pleasure we want you to feel at home....
Nice hotel in a great location, within walking distance to a couple of nice local pubs - Drillmans Arms and The Plough. Stayed here for one night. Booking through Hotels.com, check in time was stated as 2pm. We arrived at 2pm and the hotel said it was actually 3pm - disappointing on the discrepancy, plus there was no flexibility with this. We went to use the bar upon arrival, as we couldn't check in straight away. Had to ask twice for a member of staff to come to the bar to serve us, which took over 10 minutes. We understood the spa experience to be part of the package - however, upon arrival found out it was an additional £15 per person per hour. We had already paid c£125 for one night stay, so an additional £30 for spa seemed excessive. Upside - breakfast is cooked to order, which was very nice. Wouldn't recommend a as spa hotel, due to extra charges. Hotel has some way to go to justify itself as a luxury experience.

A stunning property in the market town of Cirencester situated moments from the bustling market square and close to the stunning Cotswold landscape. Guest rooms are cosy, stylish and filled with all the comforts of home with 17th-century characterful quirks and 21st-century luxury. Tuck into fabulous food, hearty and home-cooked, in the restaurant and enjoy an award-winning ale or hot drink in the comfy bar with its floor to ceiling doors, the hidden courtyard or by an open fire. Part of The House of Daniel Thwaites collection.
Was booked to stay here for a work trip. I was with a colleague and we had to spend 2 nights. On arrival we were warmly greeted. Check in was smooth. Our rooms were ready. My room was lovely! The building is old so there are limitations but I found it to be charming and comfortable. We dined at the hotel on both evenings largely for convenience the first night and then because we enjoyed it so much we dined the second night! Breakfast was also great. Selection of hot dishes available as table service. The staff were all so lovely. Warm, friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend!!

We were having a nice stay until one of the owners decided to blindside us and another couple by preaching GB News to us OVER BREAKFAST. She began talking about vaccine deaths and racist diatribe about China. Noone wanted this conversation and when I disagreed with her right wing rhetoric she refused to stop. TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE. Ruined breakfast and I had to leave before I even ate half.

We used Cirencester as a base for our holiday in Cotswold, and the Old Brewhouse was our best experience in the city. Nice and cosy with a lovely garden and a delicious breakfast. Rosemary and her crew were fantastic. Thank you, we will be happy to come again.

Other guests at the hotel were smoking weed out of the fire exit. The smell travelled into our room and upset the kids myself and partner. Despite complaining it was not resolved and it happened again. In the morning we were told that the hotel had given the guest a warning. I think zero tolerance should have been the way forward as it ruined the stay for many guest.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights while exploring the Cotswolds and we were very impressed by many aspects of our stay. The room was excellent. The décor was modern whilst at the same time in keeping with the age of the property. There were all the amenities that you would need and a little bit more. Our room overlooked the woods and so was very quiet and peaceful. It was immaculate! The rest of the property was very tastefully decorated and spotless too. Although there was no free parking, there was a carpark across the road which was convenient and cheap. However, the thing that impressed us the most was the staff and in particular Aioffe (Sorry if it is spelt incorrectly) - she was very welcoming when we arrived, very helpful, professional and had a lovely smile every time we met her during our stay. All the other staff were excellent too although we didn't have many opportunities to interact with them. When we had a very minor issue with breakfast and told the waitress (who totally agreed with us), Aioffe happened to pass by and she immediately said she would address it even though we were leaving that day and would not benefit from it. I have never had such an immediate and positive response at a hotel before! We loved the Ingleside hotel and if we are in the area again, there's no place I'd rather be!
