Where do I start? The hotel, the people, the location, the service, the care, the pool, the breakfast, the rental cars, the advice...All just wonderful. The hotel has pickup service and met us at the ferryport (returned us to the ferryport too). The hotel is so pretty with sunlight, flowers, charm, and beauty...the rooms , full of charm, are lovely...there's a nice porch for sitting just outside your room...the pool and hotel porch are also nearby and great for relaxing, having a drink, whatever you want! It is a very short walk from the hotel to the area where there are restaurants and shops (not even 3 minutes - as the hotel is in town). The hotel has cars for rent and that made it very easy for us to do daytrips during our stay (cool beaches to visit and enjoy - they put chairs, towels, umbrella, whatever you need in the trunk and take care of the fuel too - simply no worries)...the room is great and they bring drinks and snacks and place them in your fridge...someone is always on duty and they watch and anticipate your needs - service is impeccable. Breakfast is plentiful and handled safely - delicious foods to enjoy. I can think of no other place to stay and would highly recommend POLIKANDIA for the reasons above and so many others. I am missing this place and hope to return soon.

Simplicity, light and open horizon are to be found in Folegandros Apartments which are built in accordance with the traditional style of Cycladic architecture with the personal care of the owners.
We were so happy we chose this lovely place to stay on Folegandros . Kostas the owner was on hand to help with walking ideas , island information and car hire - also football chat ! We stayed in a beautiful apartment with lovely balcony and far reaching views of the town and hills with the sea in the distance . The room was cleaned every day by Kostas ‘s wonderful staff - immaculate We really loved the 2 minute walk into the beautiful old town , though more of a village . Small squares with lovely cafes and restaurants everywhere , just opening up at the beginning of the season - all freshly painted . Perfect ! There is a lovely pool area with breakfast and drinks served all day . Hired a car to explore this tiny island . Fabulous walks everywhere . Would definitely recommend staying here

Chora Resort Hotel & Spa captures the traditional style of Folegandros in each of the 24 exceptional rooms and suites situated in beautiful lush surroundings. The interior of the resort presents a pleasant balance of Cycladic architectural features and contemporary aesthetics in a quiet and serene atmosphere.
The location is very good and provides a nice view. The pool area is big and clean. The rooms are big and the beds were comfortable. I noted there are many negative reviews online and we realized only after we stayed there that all of them are about a different place as clearly people were not describing this venue. Most of the negative reviews come from people who stayed in a different venue that is associated in some way with this hotel. Hence, the hotel gets sometimes busy especially at breakfast (come earlier) and at the pool as the guests from other associated hotels come to this one. It bother us somehow also noting that the other venues were way much cheaper and it was the main reason for crowd around.

Within 300 m from the centre of Chora Village, Aspalathras White Hotel boasts an outdoor pool, wooden sun terrace and poolside snack bar. Rooms feature an island décor with panoramic view of the village and the surrounding islands.
This is an outstandng hotel. The location is a short walk from the Chora -- close enough to stop in any time you want, but apart enough to provide a bit of quiet. The rooms and hotel is modern, but designed with classic Cycladic style. The rooms are spacous, with seperate sitting areas or balconies outside. The size is ideal -- there are enough rooms to support a pool, bar, food service, and abundant staff. They offer a shuttle free service to and from the port. The staff are friendly, acomodating, and abundant. The hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean. The pool is deep and refreshing, and the pool deck offers wonderful views. At the same time -- the hotel isn't too large. It mostly feels private, and though other guests will likely be at the pool mid-day, it's easy to find space. This is a wonderful hotel in a perfect location on a special island.

Don't give them your credit card numbers, They simply robbed 300 euros on our bank account after we left and given a review on the net... The review was just a honest comment about our 4 days stay at blue sky summer in Naxos. This was not good enough for them, as we received a mail first, in which they were insulting us, being very angry and nervous, and second, the 300 euros stollen. I may add that the room was already paid. This is purely insane. The place was not even a proper hotel, no service, no breakfast, no food, no lobby, only rooms and their lounge as a reception desk. Its only a building with studios, where kids has welcomed us at our arrival. Whatever, the terrace in our room or the towels in the shower, the basic bed.. this one is forsure to avoid. Matthieu After 2 weeks of absurd talks with the hotel and the good help of the booking web site we finally have the money back. that was a hard job.. I wish we never went in this place.

The rooms offer very basic amenities, very small bathrooms and very bad sound insulation. However, they are very centrally located in the Chora of Folegandros, just a step away from the main square and all restaurants and bars. The owner was very flexible with certain changes we made due to a change in the numbers of the group and the cleaning staff was also very helpful. Overall we found the rooms quite expensive for the quality they offer.

Pros: Just two minutes from the main squares in Folegandros Chora with the shops tavernas and bars, same distance from bus station for buses to the port and Angali beach Modern shower with nice floor and tiling but poor water pressure - very nice complimentary toiletries Two single beds pushed together, clean linen and comfortable mattresses Kitchen with small oven and two ring hob, fridge, kettle and plenty of pans Outside seating on shaded yard to the reception, freestanding clothes dryers and communal washing line Friendly host who gave us sesame biscuits on our first night Good WiFi, plenty of power sockets, air conditioning Cons: Seating out on the communal yard not private Poor water pressure in shower No transfer service from the port, you have to catch the bus or arrange your own taxi Close to centre of Chora so on a busy road so there will be some noise. Not many cars though Little natural light, only one small window and the door opening onto the communal yard

The prices of the rooms in Folegandros are high, compared to the nearby Cyclades. Pavlos X2 with 75/night was the cheapest option around. The rooms are located all around a courtyard and each one has its own terrace (as you can see from the pictures here on TA). The yard is roofed with straw so that the rooms stay cool during the day. No air conditioned is supplied, but we didn't feel the need. The level of cleaning is good. All in all, the spaces in the room are small. This is a problem if you are going to spend time in the hotel. We were all the time in the beautiful beaches of the island or around the stunning Chora. By the way, the bus stop is 3 minutes on foot from Pavlos X2 and the Chora 5 minutes on foot. The girl that welcomed us was nice and packed us with some useful tips about Folegandros. They will also arrange for you the transfer from and to the port. In the same structure as the hotel you can rent a scooter or ATV, but we didn't feel the need since public transport on the island is reasonably frequent. Last, the WIFI was working only for 20% of our stay.
