Cozy, welcoming family-owned business
Reviewed By 242vandanakMy mother and I stayed at Chinchero Boutique Hotel with our two neighbors as part of a package with Inkayni Tours. We could not have asked for a better place to stay in this lovely little town! Edgar and his wife, Carolina, were warm and welcoming from the beginning, giving us all hugs as we entered. Carolina even made us an amazing quinoa and vegetable soup (hands down the best meal I had in Peru) for dinner for a small fee (15 sols per person). Edgar, who is a tour guide in addition to being the owner of the hotel, had to leave early the morning after we arrived, but he graciously spent what little time he had with us sharing everything he knew about the town and the Andean culture, as well as personal stories about growing up in the mountains. The rooms themselves were very nice — there were some minor imperfections (e.g. the water in the shower took a while to become warm), but I appreciated that Edgar was aware of them and informed us about how to deal with them before we were assigned our rooms. It’s a shame we only got to stay here for one night, as I would have loved to spend more time with this very sweet family.

Reviewed By MrDragunovWe are a family of travelers with a 4 year old boy. We have traveled 6 months in Peru and seen quite a lot of different hostels. This hostel is certainly one of the best. The family who owns the business takes very good care of their guests and rooms. For the price you pay you get very good quality rooms, perfect Wi-fi, TV, consistent hot water, good beds and all necessary furniture. The staff are very friendly and will gladly help you with your additional needs. Highly recommend!

Lugar acogedor placentero donde pasaremos momentos gratos viviendo con Sonia y su familia andina donde mostramos nuestra tradicion y costumbres como el proceso de tejidos naturales a base de plantas andinas y hechas a mano, tambien nuestra agricultura en los diferentes productos andinos como la quinou, papa etc.

Reviewed By carolabesaMe hospede con un grupo de 13 personas, estuvimos muy cómodas y encantadas con Roxana y su familia, el hostal es muy bonito y en excelente estado, las habitaciones son espaciosas, iluminadas con camas perfectas para el descanso, la ubicación es ideal y el desayuno exquisito. Totalmente recomendable.
