Not a typical Holiday Inn Express
Reviewed By Danielle RWe have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express locations and this one did not seem to be on the same level. Hallway and elevator smelled heavily of marijuana. When I called the front desk to request a new comforter without a football sized stain, the lady at the front desk acted very bothered by this. She came to our room with the bedding and wreaked of marijuana. Who do you complain to if it's the actual staff doing it? The remodeled room was poorly done with stains in the shower and holes in the carpet. On the positive side, breakfast was decent and always a nice clean area in that space.

Good Option in the Lake St. Clair area
Reviewed By Richard SNice hotel with free parking and breakfast in Chesterfield. Very near the St. Clair lake area and right off Interstate 94. Very professional check-in and out. Breakfast area clean and orderly with nice choices. Very good value for the daily rate paid. Rooms were clean. I was on the 2nd floor which faced the rear parking lot, windows had side curtains that did not cover window, only sheer curtains that covered middle of window. Lights from cars coming into parking lot were an annoyance as well as limited privacy. Hotel was very quiet at night on the 2nd Floor near stairwell.
