Hotel Floris lies in Cheia, Romania. It boasts a peaceful situation immersed in pristine nature. Our hotel is nestled at the foot of the famous Ciucas and Zaganu mountains at an altitude of 860 m. Large forests cover the hillsides and allow for a wide array of outdoor activities among which hiking, mountain biking, fishing and hunting. The region that borders the Carpathian Mountains invites you to relax, lost in contemplation. Enjoy the family atmosphere that reigns at Hotel Floris as well as the dedicated service it offers you during your stay.Brasov, the region’s economic lung and a tourist favourite, is about 50 km from Cheia away. Your excursion to Brasov is also the perfect opportunity to indulge in skiing at the nearby mountain resort of Poiana, Eastern Europe’s biggest winter sports resort, and to visit stately Bran Castle, famous for having been the home of Count Dracula.
I recommend this hotel if you wish to spend a short time in Cheia. The restaurant is ok, the rooms are warm and clean. There is a big parking lot. They also have a tennis and a football court. The elevator is only available on one side of the hotel so check when you make the reservation.

Accommodation on the 1st floor, in a room without balcony at the price of 145 lei / night. Small room with massive furniture and uncomfortable bed. The bathroom is too large compared to the size of the room. Upon arrival we were not informed that we must pay the accommodation in advance. After about 3 hours after arriving, when we were at the evening meal at the restaurant "Nikos" in the resort, we were called by the administrator of the villa Bratocea (Mrs. Mariana) who asked us to pay the accommodation on the evening of arrival. It seems to me a lack of elegance.

I've visited the location at the end of August for 2 nights because we wanted to go to Ciucas Mountain Peak. That meant that we should have woken up early in the morning. We have asked the owner what time does the breakfast start the next morning because we wanted to climb the mountain , the hour communicated was 8:00 am. The next morning the breakfast was not ready, although we were 15 minutes late. The owner had really bad attitude, she roared at us! Nevertheless she was very disrespectful! I do not recommend the location although the place was nice.

We decided to dine at this hotel but it was a totally disappointing experience. The lady who served was not in the mood for work and treated us like rubbish. The coffee arrived after an hour, and the maceration took longer something unacceptable. For this reason certain Business isn't working
