A fine hotel, but you must book a room with a view of the bay
Reviewed By Marie BThe hotel building is very conveniently designed and in a good style. The rooms, however, might do with some facelifting, lighter colours would suit the place much better. Cooking is excellent, services too. There is especially good breakfast, with a large variety of foods incl. vegetables, fish, cakes etc. The espresso from the machine is excellent. You will enjoy swimming in the very-well designed indoor swimming pool. From the rooms overlooking the garden and the bay you will see hundreds of surfers and kite-surfers: the bay is suitable and very much used for these sports, however, not suitable for swimming. If you want to swim in the sea, you have to walk crossing the road, the railway and a forest to get to a wonderful wide beach (max.10 min walk). The hotel is child-friendly, lots of children run around in summer time, but at our time they were not too noisy. Some rooms may suffer a bit of smoke coming from the outdoor sitting area. The reailway station very near makes it possible to explore the Hel Peninsula by train as parking is difficult everywhere (in summer, I presume).

The Hotel 77 is a luxury boutique hotel in a dream location in Chalupy, situated in the heart of the Polish coastline. For us, dream location means clean air, beautiful panoramic views of the bay, only 50 meters to a wide beach with fine sand massaging your feet, the smell of pine forests, cycle routes and ideal conditions for water sports. The Hotel77 offers comfortable rooms, excellent cuisine, a conference room and outstanding staff service.
Hotel with a view, peace and tranquillity
Reviewed By paul658We stayed at the hotel for one night and in an off season and not in the best of weather. Yet, we found peace, great location, amazing food and relaxed and casual atmosphere that is so hard to find these days. Hotel is located slightly away from any real agglomeration and on a very narrow part of the Hel isthmus (200m) - which adds to the charm. On one side you get a great view of the bay and a little port - that's from the restaurant window. From a room window you get to see forest and a little bit of the Baltic sea. You are under a minute of walking distance from either one. Location charm aside, we found the hotel to be spotless clean and very well presented. We liked the kitchen area with a view onto the bay. We enjoyed the the classic marine style room that fitted perfectly with the natural surroundings. We had an hour in a private spa - so that was us only ... We had dinner at the restaurant and a breakfast - both, top quality food that included local specialities. Breakfast had the choices that we would have expected from a 5 star hotel, which was quite surprising. Finally, the crew made us feel welcomed with a good intro to facilities and how we can spend our time. Finding real, natural and peaceful beauty coupled with great accommodation is a rarity these days - hence, this shall be our choice again should we return to Hel. Thank you Hotel 77.

Dla tych, którzy lubią takie klimaty
Reviewed By Tomek0873Dość daleko od stacji kolejowej. Mało miejsc parkingowych w związku z tym samochody stoją wszędzie. Przyczepy kempingowe ściśnięte na maksa. W środku różnie, ale w sumie nie najgorzej. Sanitariaty w sumie OK, choć zasłonki pod prysznicami to słaby pomysł szczególnie w dzisiejszej sytuacji. Ale co by nie opowiadać to i tak są ludzie, którzy za nic nie zamieniliby wakacji na tym kempingu z niczym innym. Mam takich znajomych. Miłośnicy pływania na desce będą wniebowzięci. Dobrą opinią cieszą się tamtejsi instruktorzy. Mocną stroną jest też restauracja.

Bardzo dobre wspomnienia
Reviewed By ewas792018Willa w centrum Chałup, wszędzie blisko, nowa i ładnie urządzona, pokój dobrze wyposażony, czajnik, lodówka, naczynia. Prywatne wejścia do każdego pokoju, ręczniki na stanie - przy dłuższym pobycie bezproblemowa wymiana. Nie mamy zastrzeżeń do pobytu.
