Great for pets!
Reviewed By HalDaviesVisited again because they take pets, this time three big dogs and two kittens. Easy enough to find now. Welcome good. Need to pay in euros. Breakfast and coffee etc are extra! But at 1 euro it was worth it. The welcome for the animals was excellent. Facilities basic but cheap. Secure parking and dog walking area. We'll be back.

Reviewed By MeA18We were doing a road trip throughout Romania and we stopped there for a night. We have never been welcomed so well and so kindly. The hosts are exceptional, the setting is just amazing and the rooms extraordinarily comfortable and clean. We felt at home. Very easy to find with google Maps. A thousand thanks! We will definitely come back :-)

I recommend it for transit
Reviewed By BubuqaWe slept there one night. The staff was nice to us and the breakfast varied and good. The room was clean and it was quiet, although it is close to the ring road and it has a nice yard. The wi-fi worked well. The only issue was that we could not use the bathroom sink, the underneath installation was damaged.

Cheap and cheerful
Reviewed By HalDaviesWe booked the Belvedere via Booking.com. At £14 a night it looked fantastic value. En route we received a call and a WhatsApp message providing the 'real' address. It was, in fact, the address of the Green Residence, a hostel. George, the owner, speaks very good English. He was very welcoming and said that the Belvedere was fully booked! We had three dogs and three cats. George offered us the apartment at the rear at no extra cost. Three beds, bathroom and TV. Comfortable beds. Plenty of room. The toilet and basin were loose but all in all, for £14, it was ok. George invited us down for a beer that night and then hit drinks in the morning at no extra cost. A super host. He also let us park behind the locked gates. Wi fi was free and fast. We will return.

A disasterous experience

It said on site parking no need to book when we arrived all the area was full of cars and we had to park some distance away this was because of the grounds being used as a local disco bar which was packed. All the doors to the hotel restaurant were locked and no bells or instructions so eventually asked in the garden and some one came and took us through a derelict inner bar and restaurant to the reception. We were shown a room which was ok but it was impossible to have the window open due to the loud noise. We asked about breakfast and dinner and were told it would be in the garden but if we wanted they would set up a table in the restaurant. we found that the two concerns are now run separately and obviously the hotel and its guests are not regarded as important. Half the lights in the room did not work. No wifi as stated no swimming pool no bar facilities except for the disco bar in the garden. The music went on till after midnight and it was impossible to sleep. When we asked to speak to a manger we were told they were out of town. The best thing about the hotel was leaving after a very poor breakfast in a semi derelict and stripped restaurant with no lighting. I felt sorry for the staff who were obviously left to cope with a very unsatisfactory and badly managed venue. I went numerous times to reception but no one was ever there what was also disturbing was that the registration details including passport numbers and addresses were all left on the top for anyone to see including the large number of casual users of the garden facilities.
