Amazing hotel and very nice service! Great location near the old city of Bern! Came for a work trip and stayed 3 more nights just because of the excellent service and convenient location. Elizaveta Spicher was really kind to us during our stay, recommended lots of beautiful touristic places to visit nearby which we really enjoyed. Had a lot of fun, will definitely visit again!

Hotel Rössli, nestling in the old quarter of Unterseen near Interlaken, is a popular base for holidays in Switzerland's beautiful Bernese Oberland. Our hotel offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, a central location, a stylish yet cosy ambiance and attractive rooms to suit all tastes. Rooms with balconies have views of the snow-clad Jungfrau and the Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe at 3454 metres above sea level!
Now that Switzerland has ended all Covid restrictions, I was able to enjoy another stay at this friendly, cosy traditional Swiss hotel, centrally and quietly located, a five minute walk from Interlaken West railway station/transport Interchange, from where you can explore the beauty of the Bernese Oberland. Christopher, Vilma, Khatia and the rest of the multilingual reception team are very efficient and welcoming and provide you with a hotel info leaflet and the Interlaken guest card that enables free local transport and provides discounts at some shops and attractions. They can also help with personal itineraries and tickets on the Jungfrau Railways system. My first floor, very clean simply furnished room had multi-channel TV, shower/toilet, very comfy bed, plenty of electrical sockets including USB charger ports, a free room safe and Wi-Fi access. The room was cleaned daily by very friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfasts were varied and plentiful with cereals, breads, toast, croissants, fresh fruit, yoghurts, jams, boiled eggs, cold meats, local cheeses, extra yummy scrambled eggs and bacon plus cold fruit drinks. Tea or coffee was served at your table. It was nice to see Jean Louis (Christopher’s father) in full swing again, welcoming his many returning guests and dispensing cheerful humorous comments, ensuring tea and coffee pots were always topped up and more importantly having the time to sit and discuss with his guests helpful travel tips. What an amazing host! The ground floor lounge has sitting areas, a widescreen TV, 24hr tea/coffee making facilities, a microwave plus plates and cutlery so guests can heat up their own food supplies and eat-in. There’s also a well stocked multilingual library for guests use. There’s another widescreen TV in the first floor lounge along with a supply of DVDs, laptop computer and children’s toys/games. Across the road from the hotel is a pharmacy, newsagent and pizza restaurant and within easy walking distance are several restaurants and a Coop supermarket that also have sandwiches, snacks and drinks that can sustain you on your daily excursions into the mountains. Thanks again for your hospitality and kindness. It’s much appreciated.

This family owned hotel is the perfect place to stay in Wengen. Our room (302) had a large balcony with amazing views of the mountains. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and 4 course dinner every night of our week long stay. All the staff were very friendly and greeted us by name every day. Be sure to book a private session in the sauna for some relaxing time after all day hikes. We highly recommend Hotel Edelweiss.

Hotel Spinne is located in the heart of the glacier village of Grindelwald at the foot of the Eiger North Wall in the Jungfrau region. Our 4* hotel comprises 44 rooms in a welcoming Alpine Chic design. Most include a balcony or terrace with superb views of our majestic mountain world. For rest and recreation, we offer guests a beautiful spa area with heated infinity outdoor pool, saunas, whirlpool, multi-sensory shower and rest room. In our Rôtisserie, Ristorante Mercato & Bistro, we serve the finest freshly-prepared pastas and pizzas, delicious meat and fish dishes.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Every member of staff was absolutely exceptional from arrival to departure. The room was beautiful and clean with a view of the eiger but the spa facilities were exceptional! We stayed on a half board basis, breakfast was lovely, the usual continental options plus hot options and made to order eggs/omelettes at a cooking station. Evening meal was 4 courses and every meal was outstanding. I also cannot thank the staff enough as they catered to my partner, who is lactose free, and went above and beyond to ensure she also had the same quality and variety of food that I did. The location is excellent and it was only a 5 minute walk to and from the train station for our airport transfers. We also had a massage on the last day which was excellent! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and cannot wait to return!

This holiday and spa hotel is in an outstandingly panoramic location, quiet and central but with uninterrupted views of the famous North Face of the Eiger, Wetterhorn and First. Inside, the hotel is decorated with lots of warm wood, and the spacious lobby has an open fire, creating a cosy atmosphere. The large, comfortable bedrooms with their light wooden furniture are perfect places to relax in. Those in certain categories have a balcony. The half-board "Ambiance" restaurant has picture-perfect views of the mountains, tempting you to linger and eat to your heart's content. Gourmet diners are also superbly catered for in the à-la-carte "Adlerstube" restaurant. In the spa centre, you'll find all kinds of ways to unwind: try the large swimming pool, the Finnish sauna, the Roman baths with four climate zones, the hydro-massage showers, the solarium or the rest room. The hotel also offers an attractive range of sports, from a fitness centre to aquagymnastics and aerobics.
The Sunstar hotel has an excellent position opposite the First gondola station. Do go for a room with an Eiger view. Good swimming pool that is open from 8am to 8pm. Being an early bird I would have liked the pool to open at 7am. Good breakfast although I would have liked my croissants to be warm. Free non alcoholic minibar that is topped up every day. There was satsumas in the room on arrival and small chocolates. I would have liked chocolates every day! I stayed here in summer 2020 when the evening meal was cooked to order. This has been replaced with a buffet with different choices each day. Being a bit of a fussy eater this buffet style suited me much better, plus you are not waiting for your food to arrive. I particularly liked the apple fritters that were on the dessert buffet one evening.

No way to sleep here, too noisy. And bathrooms are smells not good and wet on the floor always.. Actually 2 people checked in midnight. You shouldn't be allowed to check-in at the midnight to wake up the other roommates. From 00:30-2:30 they were packing, talking, turning on lights, slamming doors, drying hair. They should be allowed to check in until 22:00 in the evening in a shared room. They would wake everyone up at dawn because they would come in making noise and then no one could go back to sleep.

We stayed in Bern three nights and the hotel was outstanding. We were most impressed with the housekeeping. Every day, twice a day, they cleaned or refreshed the room, replenished the coffee and sparking water in the room. Everyone we encountered was nice and the air conditioning was good. The location is fantastic. It is near the train station and old town. Because of its proximity to the train station, we used Bern as a hub to see other places. We highly recommend.

Our 4* Boutique Hotel Bellevue is situated in the heart of Interlaken on a sunny and quiet place directly on the bank of river Aare and is only 5 minutes walking distance away from the train station Interlaken WEST. All our rooms are equipped with A/C and have a balcony offering a great view of the river and nearby mountains. The hotel is the ideal starting point for business travelers and holiday guests: it is close to the city center yet well situated for excursions around Interlaken and to the mountains.
I do want to start out by saying this hotel was gorgeous, the balcony was amazing and the hotel room overall is very nice! However, we found a used condom wrapper next to our bed and the AC did not work. We contacted the hotel and—because we would only be there two nights—preferred a discount or comped night, but they only offered us an upgrade. The hotel staff were very apologetic, but said the only solution was the upgraded room, which felt like a given to me as we would not have stayed in the room after that!

The picture-postcard mountain village of Wengen carries Switzerland into the world. For years, an international mix of guests has found their way to the lively hotel in the best location in the car-free village, and not only because of the famous Lauberhorn ski race. In addition to the large wellness area, the main attraction in the historic building is the sun terrace with a view of the Jungfrau and the surrounding impressive mountain landscape.
Stayed in Wengen for 3 nights. Weather was good for 2 days when we could see the snow-capped mountains from our balcony. Room is spacious, with a good-size toilet. Interior of the room looks a bit dated but still remain in good conditions. Great location that is only a stone-throw away from the train station. Hotel has spa and wellness facilities which is a good retreat after a long day out. Would love to have some variety for the breakfast spread as the same items were served over the 3 mornings.
