The past runs deep in Cadiz, where cobbled medieval streets spill out into whitewashed Spanish plazas and Roman ruins. As one of Europe’s oldest cities, it has the feel of an urban island, marked almost entirely by beaches and ultramarine harbors dotted with fishing boats.

A new Parador for a new century. A new building representing a new, updated architecture, in which light, space and noble materials are key elements, with avant-garde lines in which the most diverse shapes and materials - wood, marble, steel, stone and glass - are combined to give this new icon of contemporary architecture its shape. Light invades all corners, and the ocean turns into the horizon, from which any spot of the new Parador can be seen. Modern and warm rooms, with impressive terraces flying over the city and the Ocean. The swimming pool and Spa area is located on the second floor. Here, guests can enjoy the best panoramic views onto the bay of Cádiz
This hotel from the outside looks like it's under construction but don't be deceived once inside it is well maintained. Our room had a beautiful balcony with outstanding views of the ocean and the park next door. The shower was incredible with fantastic water pressure. The room was clean with modern touches like electric blinds. This was the positive, the negative was their food. We ate at their upscale restaurant my wife and I had the pan seared snapper which was tasteless. The bread was old hard and cold. Our friends had the papardelle and seafood paella the pasta was overcooked mushy the paella was so bad my friend couldn't even finish it. Complaints to the waiter were met with a shrug and a comment that "we are still learning". During the two days we had the breakfast buffet the Spanish omelet was dry overcooked with raw potatoes in it. The Tazita del Atlantico restaurant had good ham croquettes but that's the only positive we can report. After staying at the Gran Miramar in Malaga this was a let down in quality of food.

Senator Cadiz Spa Hotel is a 4-star hotel set in a restored old palatial home equipped with all modern commodities. Located in the old town of Cadiz, the hotel has a fantastic location, just 5 minutes from the city train and bus station. Spa service is not included in room prices.
The Senator Cadiz Spa Hotel provides excellent accommodation and is centrally located for easy access walking into the beautiful historical centre. The bus and rail transport are also easily accessible, providing good transport links for day trips into the surrounding area. The breakfast dining room was spacious and comfortable and the buffet style breakfast was generous with a wide range of hot and cold foods. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was also my birthday while in Cadiz and there was a lovely bottle of complimentary cava for me in our room, which was a lovely thoughtful gesture.

Hotel Cádiz Paseo del Mar, affiliated by Meliá, is located right on the well known beach of Playa de Victoria, some 2.5 km (30 minutes on foot) from the historic centre of Cadiz. Two city buses with stops near the hotel will take you directly to the old part of Cadiz. Our rooms are totally renovated.
This hotel was a lovely place to spend several nights while visiting Cádiz. It's located right by the beach and is within walking distance of multiple restaurants, yet the hotel feels calm and un-rushed amidst the bustle. Our room was a decent size and had everything we need, and the breakfast had fresh foods (freshly squeezed orange juice!). Our checkin and checkout went smoothly, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The front desk staff made this stay a favorite for us. Attentive and helpful, they took the time to make recommendations, give directions and even help us find the lab where we could get our Covid test to return to the USA. Free gift for booking directly was nice. VIP treatment and a great location near the beach. Next time we are in Cadiz we will stay again!

Wanted to make a reservation today with my husband and parents of 70 years of age, receptionist was extremely rude and shouted at my husband for entering the foyer. Hotel looks beautiful and really wanted to book but based on today’s service wouldn’t recommend. This lady should not be in the hospitality industry.

Good quality apartment hotel with an excellent nearby car park. The rooms are very large, although they do have memory foam mattresses, which are not great. Bathroom was good quality with a high pressure shower, although the room I had, had a strange L shaped shower which made it difficult to use. Great balcony in my room over looking the nearby children's park, although I didn't hear any noise through the excellent windows. I would stay there again, but I would want a different apartment.
