Don't expect your room to be cleaned!
Reviewed By Barney CWe had reservations for 3 nights & expected the room to be cleaned everyday as most all motels/hotels do, even before covid mandates were issued. When I confronted management, we stated they only CLEAN rooms once every SIX DAYS!!! No coffee makers or microwave ovens in the room, only in the hallway. This motel is below standards most travelers expect

Reviewed By AmberC887I really appreciated the friendliness of the staff. They were so helpful and accommodating. For instance we found out our rooms were right by the elevator and since we have had a bad experience being by an elevator in past hotels we asked for something different and they went out of their way to get us a different room. The snoopy rooms were darling and my son was so excited to get a stuffed snoopy. I also really liked the staffs helpfulness. We had a glass item we had bought from Knotts break and an employee saw it happen and even though it was an accident said we could probably get it replaced at the store. We did and really appreciated it.

Reviewed By Dbrand2005BEFORE YOU MAKE PLANS TO GO HERE DO YOUSELF ONE FAVOR. There is a reason why the Better Business Bureau gives this place an F. Call the hotel. Ask for the Managers name then ask to speak with him. The will give you a fake name "Moe" his actual name is Mohammed Parvez. After they give you his fake name they will be very vague on when he works and it's only for 1 or 2 hours a day. On top of that he is the ONLY manager that works there. I could tell you all the things that went wrong on my stay but there are hundreds of bad reviews you can see how poorly best host inn is ran.

I booked a double Queen suite with sleeper sofa and although my Mother was in a wheelchair, they gave us the smallest crappiest suite in the hotel. Guests are allowed to smoke weed outside in pool area. We felt uneasy. We traveled for our son’s junior concert as a music major. Couch cushions were torn and whoever had the room before is smoked. The thermostat was dangling crooked on the wall. No water pressure in the shower. The only reason we remained at the hotel was because it’s close to the university.

Reviewed By Ellsbells27Book somewhere else, now. Unless you want to stay in a hotel full of frat parties, with building work, broken lifts and no security. All doors openable without a keycard until you get to your room, no keycard access needed for lifts or any external doors. So bad. 1 star given for the amazingly helpful staff and shuttle bus. Other than that really awful. Chewing gum on the floor on our room, windows the sliding kind with gaps around so constant noise from the pool that apparently closes at 10pm but people are free to keep using it all night regardless. Real shame as the lobby is so nice and like I said the staff are great. But I hardly slept for 3 nights thanks to the constant noise from the pool and it was a huge mistake to book here with so many choices just down the road in Anaheim.

Reviewed By esethebombI chose this hotel because it was close to Knotts Berry Farm & Medieval Times. The location is very close to these attractions and within walking distance. The room was good. I wanted to stay an additional night, but really expensive and I would have had to pack up and switch rooms, so I just decided to go on to my next destination on my trip.

Worst quality Inn I ever stayed in
Reviewed By Helen SThe place is near knotts but the room it’s not practical no drawers for clothing no hand towels nowhere to get ice, dirty microwave stained towels you pay for what you get, refrigerator doesn’t get cold not a nice place to stay in.

Reviewed By DepputydogI would leave a “0” if had the option - The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, the staff were beyond unaccommodating - Booked the rooms 9 months in advance and when we arrived the very rude staff told us we could not check for another hour, we offered to pay to check in early and she was totally rude and would not accommodate- When we returned to check in was told after an hour wait to do so they told us they had no reservation for us, I showed them ID and the email confirmation and still nothing but rude non responsive action on their part, when I asked to speak to a manger the troll behind the desk after not giving her name or who she was then informed me she was the manager after 40 minutes of dealing with this individual - We asked if they had rooms and we would just take them now and “No Harm - No Foul” and she informed us they did but with double beds and then when we said book it she told us they had no more rooms and was very rude about it. I would never recommend this place unless you want a total WT experience then this would be the place for you!!

Needing Tech Upgrades in Guest Rooms
Reviewed By Richard VThis Fairfield Inn is centrally located just north of Knott's Berry Farm off the 91 Freeway and Beach Blvd. The rooms could use tech refresh. The bedside stand did not have a clock or any power (110v or USB) outlets. The desk also did not have power outlets, so I had to charge my cellphone on the small sink counter. The TV is small. The breakfast is nicely laid-out and feels "pre pandemic". The staff is friendly. This hotel seems to cater to vacationers. I spoke with the management team, and they stated that they are upgrading the tech in rooms, so I would ask for a "tech upgraded" room at check-in. For any Bonvoy member needing a Marriott stay off the i-5 in this area near the industrial zones of Santa Fe Springs, Norwalk, etc. this is the lowest priced Marriott-branded hotel in the area. Free parking.
