Lovely hotel in the middle of the vineyards
Reviewed By Caecilia9100We enjoyed a short stay during the Brauneberg Wine Festive last year in this lovely family hotel. Pro's: 1. The location: on a quiet hill, surrounded by beautiful vineyards. So no busy traffic or traffic noise that you can have on the main street of Brauneberg. From here you can also directly start your hike in the vineyards? 2. The room: very comfortable, clean and spacious. 3. The breakfast: a buffet with good varieties of food (continental breakfast), and delicious grape juice from their own winery. The buffet is always filled in on time. 4. The winery: the winery is located directly at the hotel, and you can enjoy their products (wines of grape juice) at their beautiful terrace, in your room, or you can bring them home along with you. 5. Dogs are welcome, though you have to pay extra. 6. The owner and her staff are really friendly. Contra's: 1. The location: if you want to go to the river of Mosel, you have to hike down around 10-15 minutes. When you go back, it is a uphill hike, though ;-) The hotel is also quiet far from shops and restaurants, so you'd better have a bike or a car. The closest big supermarkets is around 5 minutes drive with the car. 2. No elevator: for us this is not a problem, but can be difficult for disabled guests or people with heavy luggage.

Reviewed By mhbeauneThe room for the price with or without the view of The Brauneberg Juffer is almost true good to believe. Breakfast is perfect for starting the day. The restaurant is simply but lovely quality and if you are lucky enough to be able to eat outside you will not forget the positive experience. The wine are very fair for the price whilst not exceptional but the 'top of the range red' is not to be be missed. Excellent and for a German red very reasonable in price. Only criticism is the wif-di not working in the bedroom.

Reviewed By christine wHad a one night stay on our way back to Europort. Fabulous location with views over the Mosele. Very spacious comfortable room and our hosts were welcoming and helpful. Very good breakfast with lots of choice. Quiet and peaceful but only a few minutes walk to the nearest bar/ restaurant. Would highly recommend and would have loved to stay longer.

Reviewed By Bo AEn fantastisk liten pärla med kanonläge. Utsikten från altanen var hänförande över Mosel och vinfälten. Bra och rymligt rum med tillgång till kök, vilket vi inte utnyttjade (den här gången). Däremot utnyttjade vi tillgången på husets eget vin för avprovning. Detta ledde till köp av 2 kartonger. Värdinnan var ytterst trevlig och omtänksam och rekommenderade aktiviteter i närområdet. Frukosten var god och rikligt tilltagen. Det lugna läget gjorde att sömnen blev både god och långvarig.

We had a confirmed booking with the hotel for our annual Mosel visit, however, the hotel appeared abandonded and doors were locked. We feel sorry for the hotel owners - but also if guests / families drive across Europe / Germany only to meet closed doors...

Reviewed By peter_DJ66Very nice, modern, clean and well maintained. Also an ideal startpoint for visits in de surrounding area of the Mosel River. The owners (Claudia and Roger) treat their guest like Kings. The breakfast is also very complete and the personal service makes it complete. We already booked our next stay in 2020 !

Au matin, un petit déjeuner gargantuesque nous prépare pour les magnifiques balades de la région ! Nous recommandons cet endroit !

Ottimo appartamento in Mosella
Reviewed By Val0303Piccola casetta su due piani. Un appartamento per piano con ingresso indipendente. Appartamento composto da cucina-soggorno, due camere da letto matrimoniali spaziose con armadio e un bagno con doccia e finestra. Pulito e fornito di tutti i confort. Arredamento un po' datato nel gusto ma in buone condizioni e funzionale. Unica pecca il wi-fi che non funziona. Parcheggio interno. Ottima posizione strategica per chi decide di perlustrare la zona della Mosella. Il paesino dov'è situato è molto carino e consta di tutti i servizi (supermercato, farmacia, bar, ristoranti...). I proprietari sono persone squisite e molto disponibili. Oltre al tedesco, parlano inglese. La famiglia è anche produttrice di vino e giusto di fronte all'appartamento è situata la loro cantina dov'è possibile fare degustazioni e comprare bottiglie. Consigliabilisimo anche per il prezzo: 350€ per 4 persone per 5 notti.
