'Champagne' villa
Reviewed By AGuyfromBristolA bit out of the way, but this is a real 'penina' (Slovenian champagne) winery. Very quiet location, bit too quiet. Few guests and the staff were pretty scarce too. Good continental breakfast served with their very own penina.

Relaxing stay
Reviewed By Zita TWe were greeted by the very friendly Renata, whom made us feel instantly welcome. Having been riding in the rain all day, a coffee was greatly appreciated on our arrival. We were the only guests at the time and Renata went to the effort of cooking us a 3 course dinner of traditional Slovenian food. It was, quite honestly, the nicest food we have eaten so far, followed closely by the large delicious breakfast provided here in the morning. The guesthouse itself is gorgeous. The room was large and clean. Located on a farm, with very few neighbours, the only sounds you can hear are the odd distant bark of a dog or the crowing of cockerels. I would recommend Merkez to anyone. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Nice place for good meal
Reviewed By Krunoslav VAlmost 20 of us came in the restaurant and everything was great. Food is good, service very friendly and helpful, prices more than moderate. Highly recommended for weekend meal outside of house. It's smart to make reservations because they have lots of guests and you could run in a full house.

Reviewed By jolienglennDe gastheer en zijn vader zijn supervriendelijk. Meteen kregen we iets om te drinken en werden we uitgenodigd om de wijnkelder tijdens ons verblijf eens te bezoeken. De kamer was heel ruim en verzorgd en het ontbijt was fantastisch. Proef zeker de witte wijnen eens, deze zijn zeer lekker!
