Lovely quirky hotel with very friendly staff in a beautiful town but that’s where it all goes wrong. Pub was is extremely busy and great atmosphere but my room overlooked the rear courtyard and on both nights people were sat long into the early hours chatting long after closure and their voices just echoed making it impossible to sleep. Both nights managed no more than 3 hours sleep. The food was very disappointing to the point that second morning I didn’t even bother having a breakfast. Staff were very pleasant but as I had booked this as a hotel I have to review it on a bed and breakfast basis and on that score it failed on both. As a pub it’s excellent and would happily go for a drink there but not stay again. Worth mentioning, I would highly recommend Merchants fish and chips a few doors down by the river. Fantastic food and tables outside by the river to sit and chill eating gorgeous fish and chips.

Brilliant establishment, host and breakfast! Thanks so much to Stacey and her team for a lovely stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Very clean, very friendly and convenient location. We rented the whole guest house for 17 people and 6 dogs for a family get together. Just perfect

Nestled on the Worcestershire and Shropshire borders alongside the river Severn sits the picturesque town of Bewdley, known for its Georgian architecture and quaint black and white cottages. A warm and friendly welcome will always await you at The Mug House Bewdley's finest Riverside Inn and AA Rosette Restaurant. Where you can also take the opportunity to extend your visit by staying in our AA 4 star highly commended bed and breakfast accommodation.
Booked for 3 nights in May, had to change rooms after night 1 which was down to me as I booked my stay at different times. It was not an issue for the fantastic staff who relocated me and my belonging seamlessly. Both rooms I had, Apple Blossom and Lavender were extremely well appointed and comfortable with river views, free parking is arranged very locally in Dog Lane, and should you want to go out and get back late a key is available to let yourself in. The restaurant is really great, you can inside, outside under cover or outside Al Fresco. Food choice, service and quality is excellent. I would highly recommend, I'm going back for 3 days in September.

Booked here for a trip to the Severn Valley Railway. Unfortunately due to leaving home after work we did not arrive until after 9pm, staff couldn't have been more helpful. Shown to our room called the Pumpkin room, all rooms are named after fruit of some type. We missed the kitchen due to arriving late but nibbles and a pint sufficed. Breakfast in the morning was first class, and the toast (granary doorstep) was superb. Our second evening we partook after a meal and despite being busy they fitted us in. Great fish and chips, and superb Cypriot sausages from the BBQ. Then the special cloudy cider WOW! The best I've ever tasted!. Once again breakfast was superb and despite having to deal with a wedding party was handled with ease. Will we return? You bet we will. The pub has a rustic feel and a superb outside teepee, the rooms are tasteful and large, comfy beds, wet room was a surprise but great. Enough said.

Mark & Angie wish to welcome you to the newsly renovated Horn and Trumpet, Bewdley. The Horn & Trumpet, Bewdley dates from 1840 when it was converted from a private residence into licensed premises. Today, it's a friendly, family run pub. There are 3 real ales on tap including local favourite HPA from the Wye Valley Brewery, along with traditional lagers, stouts, cider and a selection of wines. Families and dogs are welcome. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in this attractive old town, the Horn & Trumpet has 6 comfortable guest bedrooms. All of the rooms have en suite facilities, all have a television as well as tea & coffee making equipment and free WiFi.
Doesn’t have a lot of street appeal but room was fine and the folks welcoming. Fairly raucous crowd in the bar when we arrived watching football on the telly, but we were well away from the notice in the room on the top floor. Good value for money and a good stop if passing through and you need a place to stay.

Wharton Park's picturesque 18 hole championship golf course in Worcester is well-known and respected, having been designed by Course Architect Howard Swan around a 43 acre Royal Forest. It is an incredibly attractive course to play, offering a variety of interesting features including water features on the 14th, 16th & 18th fairways. It offers challenging golf, with advantages which reward the more experienced golfer whilst encouraging the higher handicapper. The course is to USGA Standard, 6455 yards, Par 71.
The good first.. Great friendly staff. Excellent breakfasts. We had a lovely room with balcony for 2 nights. Nice bathroom although the water from the shower does go all over the bathroom floor as there is no door on the shower. Now for the bad.. This 'hotel' closes it's bar and restaurant at 6pm!! No one us this and we were left searching the town for a meal. The front door is locked at 6pm!! and you have to enter via a night door, using your key card. However our key card was wrongly timed out so we could not get into the hotel when we returned from a day out at 7pm. There is a phone on the wall to contact the night porter which we rang several times but he never answered the phone! After banging long and loud on various windows and doors all around the building, we were finally heard by a staff member who let us in. His explanation for the building being bolted and barred at 6pm was "this is a hotel, but it's not a hotel. It's a golf club with accommodation". A real shame because, what could have been a very pleasant stay, in a lovely setting, was badly tainted by this fiasco.

We stayed at Worralls Grove after celebrating our wedding at Arley House nearby. The setting is idyllic and the perfect to get away from manic everyday life. Amanda was fabulous and the breakfasts were delicious. We wish we could have stayed longer and will 100% be back!

Went with friends for an early evening meal and had a seat inside because of the rain. The service was friendly and attentive. The menu is reduced because of the Covid restrictions and one of the party struggled to find something she enjoyed. I had the Jerk Chicken and found it tender, flavoursome and hot. All to my liking. I did find eating with plastic cutlery and out of a cardboard box whilst sitting in a restaurant an unusual experience, but could understand that it was very hygienic. On the whole it was a pleasant meal and I would come back again.

A great place to stay for a few days in Bewdley. A very old 16th century building with loads of character. Room was spacious with a settee, armchair and walk in wardrobe, and the radiators were on. Good shower. Tea and coffee making facilities with fridge. Lynne and Steve were very friendly. Although there is no on site parking, Dog Lane car park is only a couple of minutes walk away, and up to 24 - 48 hours parking is only £10.00, so £5.00 per day.
