Lovely family-owned hotel and restaurant
Reviewed By Mobile651332I'm in the small town of Beckum a few times every year, and the hotel by Kliewe is just wonderful. Very stylish rooms, great service and lovely people. The team helps you if you have any questions and you can really feel the "family" in here! Also, the menu in the restaurant is quite diverse, you can choose from a lot of local recipes and ingredients with a great value for money. I recommend enjoying a cold beer in the "Achterdeck" beergarden.

Reviewed By worthseeingdeDas dreams Beckum im ehemaligen Hotel Höxberg ist erst seit Juni 2021 im Betrieb, aber dem ganzen Team scheint es wichtig zu sein, einen perfekten Aufenthalt zu realisieren. Ausnahmlos jeder Mitarbeiter/jede Mitarbeiterin von der Rezeption bis zur Putzkraft war freundlich und bereit für einen Smalltalk. Nach dem Check-in wurde uns sogar das Zimmer gezeigt. Ich weiß nicht wie lange das her ist, dass ich sowas in einem Hotel erleben durfte. Die Zimmer sind teilweise renoviert (Badezimmer), teilweise schon etwas älter. Aber alles ist in bestem Zustand und sauber. An der Rezeption machte man sich sogar die Mühe und organisierte abends eine Pinzette für uns um eine Zecke entfernen zu können. Sowas ist dann wohl der bekannte "Schritt mehr" ? Die Lage ist ruhig und idyllisch. Besonders mit Kindern ist das direkt angrenzende Tiergehege natürlich perfekt. Ein fairer Preis rundet das Angebot ab, was ich nur jedem der Beckum besuchen möchte, ans Herz legen kann.

Very nice hotel
Reviewed By 105heidivThis was the best of the four hotels we've stayed on our holiday. Very nice host, beautiful and quiet room, well equipped, nice bathroom. The dinner and breakfast were of high quality and the waiters were very observant and polite. Cosy city. This is a hotel to remember and revisit.

Amazing hospitality & best kitchen in Germany!
Reviewed By AmsterdamPieterWe were passing recently at the Höxberg in Beckum while moving our truck from east to west and got so much suprised by this little gem outside of Beckum. The hotel manager couple Kerstin & Armin went far beyond expectation to spoil us and all the other guests with their amazing hospitality, generosity and personal care. It is truly remarkable what these two hotel and gastro professionals are delivering during this difficult times of COVID! The spacious room was impeccably clean, fully equipped to leave nothing to be desired. We had a fantastic nights sleep in very comfy beds. But this was even topped by a great breakfast buffet to suit all the special needs and preferences, no five star hotel in Germany does any better than the Höxberg. But the ultimate experience was the dinner. GM Armin personally is doing the cooking and you could sense his international Chef experience in all details. From the flavors to the presentation, he celebrated twice a perfect culinary delight for us for which you have to go very far to find a matching. Congratulations and THANK YOU so much for such lovely treats. Kerstin and Armin have created a little jewel out of the Höxberg, a place we highly recommend and to which we will return immediately as soon as we are in the neighborhood.

Reviewed By 327darkjYa conocía este hotel de pasar por delante, aunque sin haber entrado ni haberme alojado en él. Desde fuera sólo se aprecia la sala de juegos con máquinas tragaperras, así que no resulta atractivo. En mi última visita a Beckum tenía claro que no quería ir allí y reservé en otro hotel cercano, con la mala fortuna de que éste último tuvo un problema con la habitación y me derivaron al Casino. Se me cayó el alma a los pies, pero al fin y al cabo era una sola noche... A juzgar por la habitación que me asignaron, con tres camas (más bien catres) y por la cocina compartida, más que un hotel yo diría que es tipo albergue. El lado bueno es que pasado el hall de tragaperras, el resto es menos agresivo y más tranquilo y limpio. Lo peor son los catres y el olor a humo proveniente de la sala de juegos. No repito ni loco.
