Beauty Point Cottages are set in the picturesque Tamar Valley in northern Tasmania, Australia, in the village of Beauty Point. There are two self-contained cottages, one with a spa and one with easy access. Also, there is a room in the homestead with its own entrance and ensuite. A warm welcome awaits you in either the Blue or Rose Room. Both feature queen beds and have en suite bathrooms, one with a claw foot bath. Enjoy a glass of port with our compliments in the Drawing Room - a lovely place to relax in front of a roaring log fire on cooler evenings. There's also an extensive library, stereo, cards and a chess set. Breakfast is served in the dining room or on the rotunda with fresh seasonal fruit and cooked breakfast with home-made preserves, using the best local produce. In the West Tamar Valley, overlooking the Tamar River, Jensens was originally built as a family home in early 1900's by Jens August Jensen, a Danish gold migrant. The fine federation homestead has large rooms and high ceilings and is filled with lovely antiques. Its northerly aspect captures all day sun, and its superb garden features a rotunda that is a perfect place to relax with a glass of wine and take in the amazing views. Jensens is perfectly positioned for the Tamar Valley's many great wineries. Directions: take the shared driveway up the hill.
