Reviewed By kalimac1Situated in centre of village of Beauly with parking nearby. Lunch from set 2 or 3 course menu or from all day menu. Varied choices, friendly staff and quick service. Food was lovely and well presented.

Great potential but
Reviewed By Annick RI first visited the pub in 2016. The food was delicious, the pub had a nice, lovely atmosphere. It felt like people, locals and staff alike wanted to be. It's no way as good as it was. This once beautiful and lovely place clearly suffers cruelly suffers from a lack of management. It feels like no one wants to be there. Not sure what happened to the previous chef but they should call him back. Or coach/help whoever cooks the food. It's not disgusting, it's clear that efforts have gone into the preparation of the food but it's tasteless and doesn't look very appealing. This pub has a lot to offer, history, lots of nice visual but the owner needs to care about it and put the right people in place if he/she wants to save it. I feel sorry for the staff, they are lovely but need directions.

Fabulous and welcoming stay
Reviewed By Ambassador778660Lovely guest house…was booked at vey short notice with no problem. Communication was brilliant and helpful from John and hetty, and I was confident they could answer and help with all my queries. The place is perfectly situated just a10 min walk from Beauly. Our room was bright, fresh and immaculate. The bathroom was airy and clean, and the shower was lovely and warm. Our bed was cosy and it was a treat to lie in bed and watch the TV. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast that set us up for the day. I made lots of hot drinks during the evening as the well organised and sparkling guest kitchen was so well equipped and close by. I would happily stay here again and would recommend this guest house to all travellers.

Reviewed By RobandMy wife and I have booked into many bed & breakfast properties over the years, but rarely have we come across such wonderful service in an amazing house. Our room was generous in size, beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed it. Our hostess was so very friendly and really knew how to make you feel at ease. Her breakfasts were so good...a great way to begin our day. I certainly would have no hesitation in recommending this amazing bed and breakfast. Perfection.

Reviewed By R2841RDsandrafStayed in the 4 bed cottage for 3 nights,absolutely beautiful and so clean, had everything you needed,towels toiletries tea coffee etc, including an indoor heated pool,even a little chapel in the grounds.the bed was so comfy we slept like logs. Take my word for it you will not be disappointed.John the owner was ever so helpful. We hope to come back soon ? Thanks for a wonderful 3 mites,we also had fantastic weather which was a bonus.

Reviewed By stuartfR3628MJA one night stay to break a long journey. The hotel is in a lovely location but sadly in dire need of TLC. Our room was not fully ensuite as stated, the wash basin was in the room. The evening meal was good but food and wine very overpriced. The breakfast was disgusting to say the least, not worth describing but my wife refused to eat it, there was no offer to make anything else and no offer to adjust the bill as a gesture. Definitely not worth £200 for a one night stay. Would certainly not recommend this hotel.
