Reviewed By cdoc29In times of Covid it was nice to stay at a hotel that still offers the same breakfast it does pre covid. It was the typical Hampton Inn breakfast fare, hot, decent and plentiful. They also have Coffee on 24/7 in case you need a cup in the lobby. The room was on. the smaller size of a Hampton Inn and the couch in the room was looked like it was the corner unit off a sectional with one more section next to it, no arm rests. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Housekeeping came in everyday and changed my towels and made the bed. The Gym had a Treadmill, Elliptical and Recline Bike along with a Bench and DB's from 5lbs to 50lbs. They also had a Yoga ball and two yoga mats. In addition their was always cleaning wipes in the room to wipe down equipment when you were done. Their is a single washer and single dryer on the first floor that is free to use. Staff were pleasant at every interaction and overall when I am in town on business next will stay here again

I honestly cannot say enough about her, she needs to be in charge of training for all of Hilton. I hope she gets a raise and a promotion!!

I understand there is short staffing, but you have to have clean rooms for guest without roaches ?. Staff was nice enough but security folks were scary looking and sat in the parking lot in plain clothes with a beach chair.

Everyone from the hotel with whom we came in contact was helpful, friendly and professional. Ashley Shackleford worked with me to book the conf room and she answered all my questions and concerns. Every me I reached out she got right back to me and on the day of the event she worked with us to set up the room and make sure it was as we wanted. I highly recommend this hotel and Ashley should you need a hotel or conference site in Baytown, TX.

Reviewed By E7575NSmikegOf all the IHG properties I've visited in in 40 years of traveling, I think this one had to be the worst experience. I really don't know what it is you're paying for. There's no breakfast; no daily housekeeping; no pool; the coffee in the lobby is undrinkable; the rooms are small (my wife had to get into bed from my side because there was no room to walk on one side of the bed); there was no tub; horrible smell every time you return to the room (air conditioning shuts off when you leave so the room air is stale); wifi was extremely slow; wifi and TV down several times during our week long stay; and the entrance/exit is on a very dangerous road while there is an access road with traffic light adjacent to the property but not connected to the parking lot. Looks like owners were trying to save a buck on this site. Not the IHG quality I'm used to. There are tons of other places to stay in Baytown these days - stay elsewhere!

A nightmare and a blessing
Reviewed By DanM775I was there several years and management changed throughout my stay, I have stayed in Hotels/Motels for the last 12 years due to a marriage separation, anyways... if you are here for a short stay or are here on a work assignment you may be ok, you will have to put up with a judgmental and distrustful management and uncomfortable beds but if you are a retiree or a senior citizen before warned.... I retired early due to Covid , it didn't take long before I was treated with suspicion and disrespected by the management and I was pushed out and left. It was a very stressful time and it was shared with fellow seniors and long term retires .

Staff could care less about the customers and customer service! Holes in the wall are trashy.

We were leaving at 11:30 am so do your repairs after the room is empty. Don't disturb the clients. We came there to rest. Did the maintenance guy read the logbook showing room 131 leaving at 11:30 am? At 9:30 am, housekeeping wakes us up again wanting to clean the room. I told her "NO" we are checking out at 11"30 am. It's in the logbook for room 131 to check out at 11:30 am. Does anyone read the staff logbook? Now we are awake. Can't go back to sleep. I called and complained to Manager Shawn and he gave us 1/2 off the room. We came there to rest and be left alone. The customer clearly doesn't matter to the staff. This is clear by their actions. I went load my truck and the room door closed and my key wouldn't work so I asked Angie if she could open my door so I could get my wallet from the room. Angie seemed angry that I bothered her and when I brought the housekeeper waking up she made an excuse about stay over days. I told her that our check-out time was clearly documented in the staff logbook if someone would just read the damn logbook. Angie made it clear that Customer Service doesn't matter to her!!!! I'm not happy and I'm also tired from the lack of sleep. What is a motel without customers? Bankrupt!
