The hotel is clean, quiet, and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, and you could ask for sea-facing rooms. The front desk staff members are very polite and they attend to your needs with with utmost sincerity and dedication. We’ve tried a few traditional Indonesian cuisine during our stay here.

one of the worst ibis hotel i ever have
Reviewed By vincewonksupposed to be a good hotel but my room wasn't that clean when i visit - ripped bedsheet - no towel when i want to take a shower around 9pm. - hair, dust and spider web around the corner of the room - stain on the toilet cover ewwww... - 2nd floor room close to the elevator are super noisy in the morning - a bit far from the city center + it looks better than average 3 star hotel + decent swimming room + spacious room + toilet were actually decent + refill water bottle instead of plastic + interesting decoration inside the room + fast response from the engineering and housekeeping when i complained + fast early check in as an accor all member supposed to have another night here in 4 days. but asked for a guarantee from the receptionist. the cleanliness of the room depends on the previous guest and i don't need to stay there if i doubt their hotel. yeah give me a break. so never mind, it's better to find somewhere else. even my experience with several ibis budget are cleaner than this i spent 3 nights in ibis style McPherson singapore and ibis novena, i got way better treatment than this. Accor needs to have another hotel in batam.

worst ever 4 star hotel
Reviewed By ChaluqsDeserves a 0. - Room is very dark. a lot of lights are spoilt. 2 in bathroom, 2 in bedroom - toilet even darker - Bed smells bad - shower room extremely disgusting. wall is moldy and brownish and blackish. how the heck is this a 4 star hotel - swimming pool not usable. oh my goodness gracious. white dirts that look like paints and insects floating. floor not scrubbed. looks more like abandoned building - creepy room - paid 500k rupiah on this sh!th0le. complete ripoff. i wont even pay 1/4 of it to stay here dont bother to complain as stay only 1 night.

Reviewed By narno87saya awalnya mencari hotel yang murah saja di batam, karna saya baru tiba dari singapura dan kapal menuju Tanjung pinang sudah tidak ada. awalnya sedikit skeptis dengan hotel ini, karna harga nya murah tapi saat masuk ke kamar, kamar tidak luas tapi tidak terlalu sempit, bersih, nyaman dan melebihi ekspektasi saya. mungkin nanti kalau transit lagi, saya akan langsung menginap di hotel ini kembali.

Well worth the money paid
Reviewed By muslpi1Certainly worth every cents you paid for this quality. You can't find a better hotel for this rate. Free parking, coffee, tea available. Bathroom is clean. TV is clear and keeps the kids entertained. Bed is clean. You can take a short walk to the shop lots behind the hotel for late night supper.

Not Much Lov in a Inn
Reviewed By Chiabb11This was our first time staying at Lovina Inn coz we wanted to try some place other than our favourite hotel in Batam Centre. We had no expectation, knowing that this is a 3-star establishment. Arrived CNY eve and check-in was smooth. Room was simple and clean - looked like it had been recently renovated. First thing that went wrong was to find a pillar in the room (see photo). This was ok until my wife had her skirt snagged on a sharp corner of an aluminum strip separating the different coloured panels on this pillar. I checked and found all the aluminium strips has sharp corners each capable of not only snagging clothes but also cutting human skin. These were set at various levels so that legs, midriffs and faces of the unwary could be cut. I raised this complaint to reception, they sent a housekeeping staff to examine the hazard, and then....nothing, absolutely nothing, was done for the entire duration of our stay. Ironically, a similar pillar in the lobby had all the sharp edges on its aluminium strips filed smooth. The other hazard in the room was the shower head. The water pressure in the bathroom was pathetic from the sink tap - a mere trickle, with no hot water whatever. On the other hand the shower water pressure was a torrent and could get very hot. Sadly the shower screen covered only half the width of the opening so taking a shower meant that the rest of the bathroom was flooded. It didn't help either that the screen had a gap with the wall and the bathroom floor sloped away from the shower area. To minimise the flood one has to stand close to the shower while keeping the water flow moderate. Unfortunately, this results in the shower tap often being inadvertently pushed by one's body resulting in the ill-fitted shower head flying off the holder and crashing to the floor, sometimes hitting one's head first (ouch!!!) The hotel also promised complimentary toiletries (plural). All that was provided was a wall-mounted shower wash which (I assume) doubles as shampoo.The wall dispenser often got stuck when pressed and had to be pried out before it could be used again. Altogether, having a shower in this hotel is an adventure never to be forgotten. We had opted for the daily breakfast even though previous reviews had warned that the selection is limited and unchanging. The first morning was acceptable albeit with limited selection. We had not expected much from a 3-star hotel. When the hotel began to fill up over the holiday weekend we found on the second day that by the time we came down for breakfast, all we had left was coffee/tea with bread/toast & spreads.This was at 9am - breakfast is supposed to be from 6-10am. Raising a complaint to both serving or reception staff was met with resigned sighs. There was no top-up; the kitchen had not been sufficiently prepared for the influx of guests. Day 3 breakfast was a little better but then we came down at 8am. The final irritation was that we found out that this is one of the few hotels which forbids Grab pickups at the front. In fact, this is enforced so vigorously that we had to wait along the main road for our Grab pickup and walk down about 100m in the blazing sun so as to be out of sight of the hotel. Grab drop-offs is not an issue. We learned very quickly why this was so when we had to use the hotel's in-house taxi on checking out and pay a fare 4 times that of Grab. Surely,you might say, there must be some good things to say about Lovina Inn, Batam Centre. Well there are plus points. For one it is within walking distance to good eating places such as Meat House and Chemistree. But these are for another review. My impression of Lovina Inn is that, in spite of their stated goal to provide guests with a "comfortable stay" the bottom line has driven them to offer minimum service and amenities. During our stay, I got the feel that guests' comfort and safety come second (perhaps last) in cost-cutting measures. I had asked to speak to the manager - never happened. Lovina Inn is supposed to be a 3-star establishment. I would assess it as more akin to a budget hotel. You can conclude that I shall not be booking with them again.
