We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this hotel as part of our short trip around the Normandie area. Nice clean hotel with good service. It would have been nice if there was a bar available within the hotel.

We recently stayed in Bayeux to take the Band of Brothers tour. After looking over different hotels in Bayeux we decided on the Hotel Reine Mathilde and am so glad we did. The hotel had a great deal of charm with a great location. We were across the street from the Cathedral and about 50 meters from our meeting point for the tour. The hotel was about a 10 - 15 minute easy walk from the train station. Our room was large to accommodate my wife, son and daughter. There was more than enough room with no one stepping over anyone. The beds were comfortable as well as the pillows. We did not have the breakfast so we cannot comment to it. We, did though eat at their restaurant for dinner and the meal and service were very good. There are other places to eat which we experienced and did not have a bad experience anywhere. We found Bayeux to be very friendly. If we make it back to Bayeux we will stay again.

Spent one night here and could have stayed more if we had more time. The staff are extremely helpful, polite and friendly. The atmosphere of the hotel is special and it felt a privilege staying there. The rooms are comfortable and have nice duvets and pillows (we are fussy ?). We ate dinner in the restaurant which was delicious. Highly highly recommend.

Charming Hotel located between the famous walk of "Les Planches" and the Hippodrome, in an area set back from the crowd, with free parking in the street outside the hotel or in the parking of the church. Relaxing with the heated summer outdoor pool, spa privatized just for you open 24/24, with sauna, steam and hydro-jet, massages (from 49 € per person). With a garden, where you can relax on the sun loungers around the pool or enjoy a cocktail in the evening on the balcony to enjoy the last rays of sun. In winter, you will enjoy the same cocktail in the lounge / bar in front of the fireplace.
We have tried many Hotels in Deauville and this is by far our favorite. Rooms were very nicely redone, love the pool and garden, breakfast is excellent, few minutes walk to the beach and the town center and had a nice massage at their spa.

This is a 3 *** hotel, and a good representation of one - but no more than that. Our room was a reasonable size, but smelt of cigarettes even though it stated that it was non smoking. The furniture was fine, the bed comfortable, the bathroom a little cramped and the main shower head didn't work and the water pressure wasn't great. The setting is lovely - very peaceful, and you can walk through some fields to a bit of beach area where there are good views on the Mont St Michel. Dinner was good - we had the basic menu which had good choices and the food was tasty, and our waiter was very attentive. Breakfast was OK - a reasonable selection. We stayed here to visit the Mont rather than being captive in the Mont village, and it was the right choice for us.

This former Norman manor house nested in the heart of a large park in the centre of Honfleur, near the Vieux Bassin, has a wealth of history and authenticity. It is the reflection of times gone by when the hours passed through the seasons. A place for relaxation in the heart of the town of Art, cradle of a master of impressionism: Eugene Boudin
A beautiful room in a hotel that is full of character. Our room was delightful. The manager and staff are professional and accommodating. The parking facility is a huge convenience, especially so in central Honfleur.

Due to the sanitary situation our swimming pool is temporarily closed. Situated at a 2 hours drive from Paris and nearby the beach and the Casino, our Hotel*** welcomes you in the centre of Trouville-sur-Mer and offers a heated indoor swimming pool with Sea view and a restaurant. The coast line of Normandie will charm you…
We stayed 12 days in this hotel close to the beach which is far away from a 4* hotel. The welcome area is cozy and nicely decorated. The rooms style on 2nd floor has been refreshed and it is calm except in case of incredibly noisy DJ sessions with yelling guests that took place twice in the hotel lobby. The cleaning service is badly organized, often cleaned the room after 4 pm and forgot it twice due to missing staff. They regularly forgot to renew the towels, took our sponge to clean baby bottles and the last day they threw away my Garmin heart rate belt that I forgot in the bathroom instead of giving it to the welcome desk. The hotel staff is polite and joyful but overloaded and understaffed. The breakfast is full of unfreezed bread, croissants and jam in huge glasses that are served every day in the same receptacle. The guy and the young lady that served and tidied up the breakfast room were inefficient and impolite. The baby chair was not cleaned and still dirty the next day. Tea selection was not refilled, The same completely moldy raisins were served 2 days in a row just as if the young waitress had not checked the food at all. The microwave in the lobby used to heat water for baby milk was very dirty from the beginning to the end of our stay. The rental bikes are in bad shape: 2 of them with flat tires and all with small wheels and frame. You can relax in this hotel but should not expect a 4* spa hotel. The price is too high for a low 3* hotel!

Isolated place to relax, the Domaine de Bayeux is in the centre of Bayeux, less than three hours away from Paris and just a few minutes’ walk from the train station. Built in the 18th century, this beautiful classical house is full of history and surrounded by a centenarian French-style park. Enjoy our classical setting with its period woodwork, stair and wooden floor. Our large lounge and its majestic carved wooden fireplace is the perfect place to relax. Our rooms are spacious, with all the modern conveniences (flat TV screen with satellite, free wifi, safe, hairdryer…) We offer also a fresh and local breakfast. At your convenience, enjoy the classic charm updated with modern touch of the 18th CENTURY MAIN HOUSE, with 8 rooms, all of them different ... …or join at a few feet down in the park our new ORCHARD EXTENSION with 11 design air-conditioned rooms, all with a private terrace or balcony (Opening in APRIL 2019)
We used Domaine de Bayeux as our base for touring D-Day areas over the course of six days. It is situated just a few blocks from the Tapestry Museum, the Cathedral and many excellent restaurants in a quiet part of town. Domaine, like most of the homes in Bayeux, are situated behind austere walls that open into gravel courtyards. The entrance has a feeling of a private house rather than a hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room, on the second floor, was spacious (the width of the building) with large windows facing the street and a lovely courtyard lawn with trees and flowers along the periphery. The room had a simple elegance with comfortable chairs for reading. The bathroom was enormous with white marble floors, a large walk-in shower (with strong pressure), a large bathtub and two large sinks and towel warmers. The owner was charming and a lifesaver in finding us an antigen testing invaluable in helping us to find COVID testing ---We spent most of our time touring the region and wished we had planned more free time to sit in the garden, reading and listening to the songbirds who woke us every morning.
