Room was spotless. Showers over bath were excellent. Bed linen and duvet perfect and plenty of pillows. Staff very helpful. Nice restaurant on site with good value meals. Cooked breakfast was perfect and plenty of choice on continental. 0

An excellent location for our overnight stay as we visited Zip World. One of the best rooms we’ve ever stayed in, immaculately decorated. All the staff extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this establishment.

Stay below the impressive Glyder mountains with views of the Nant Ffrancon Valley at this former quarry manager’s cottage. Recently refurbished and great for families, you can be sure of a warm welcome at this environmentally-conscious hostel. All levels of walks can be found in the immediate area, and you won’t need to travel far for world-class mountain bike trails. It’s perfectly placed for strolls to see Rhaeadr Ogwen Waterfalls or Cwm Idwal nature reserve (with its dramatic lake) and Devil’s Kitchen.
A little gem nestled in an awesome location with its own private car park (glad it has its own otherwise parking would be a problem). It’s ideally located for walkers to discover the Ogwen Valley or to venture to Anglesey or Snowdon. The hostel itself is a little beauty, I had the single bedroom. Perfect for solo travellers or families. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

We are located on Junction 11 Service Station- just a stone's throw away from Snowdon and other major tourist attractions in North Wales
Rooms were smelly. Internet was not working. The walk to the rooms was very long through the corridors, door after door. Carpets in the corridor and in the rooms looked and felt tired. bathroom door didn't have any lock. Even the room couldn't be locked from inside. will not stay again

Location, location, location. With stunning views over the Menai Straits, Bangor Pier and out to Snowdonia the location could not be better. In a elevated position you can enjoy the view from the conservatory restaurant, bar or front facing room. There are 20 double / twin / family rooms, all with private bathroom, free Wi Fi, free car parking (11 spaces).
Made the mistake of booking and paying for a room in the Annexe prior to inspecting it. Awkward and difficult access to a separate building. Stairway, steps and front door of annexe require and urgent upgrade.

Just returned from our second trip to Ogwen Bank and had a fantastic time. We stayed in The Snowdon Spa Lodge with hot tub towards the bottom of the park on the river side. The lodge itself was immaculate, modern and well equipped. Plenty of space for a family of 4 but could easily be enough space for up to 6. The hot tub was a fantastic addition which the kids loved. It was also checked and treated every day by Ogwen staff. The walks around the area are beautiful across the river and you can’t get much closer to zip world which was perfect for our planned visit. Perfect getaway, we will return again and would recommend to others.

in all my 44 yers of adult life staying in dozens of hotels this is the worst. It was very dirty, smelt of urine going from ground floor to first, had to run around in shower to get wet, shower tiles had mould on. only good thing it was near buses for mountains.

The room on offer was at best dire water damaged ceiling grimy furniture hadn't been cleaned in a long time and the bathroom didn't fair better. I was offered another room for the night whilst this one was cleaned it wasn't much better, Wendy did her best with a bad situation. These rooms are nothing like the photo's, we left within the hour and tried finding somewhere else.
