Grand Mercure Khao Lak Bangsak is the new resort scheduled to open in December 2020, situated on a secret stretch of Thailand’s Andaman Coast. It is a Thai tropical architect building surrounded by the floating canal throughout the resort. All rooms feature their own private terrace with a view of swimming pool or the canal and surrounded by tropical trees and water plants.
Small boutique hotel that make you feel so exclusive in everything you do. We loved this place as we are nested in the nature. Friendly staff who always see to our request made our trip so enjoyable. Our half board package made everything so easy especially with our teens. They enjoyed their own time together and we adults have our own me time together too. Thank you Grand Mercure.

Stayed in a 1 bedroom pool Villa with the all inclusive package for 10 nights. Villa was very spacious & private. Pool was surprisingly large. Food was great. Good quality, plenty of options & plenty of it. A good variety of alcohol, although not for wine drinkers. If you want something a bit different Ottos restaurant at the entrance to the resort is outstanding authentic local food. We paid 1600baht for 4 entrees 4 mains a couple of rices & 6 big beers. The staff at the resort were fantastic, nothing was any trouble. We tended to use Jack (one of the managers) as our go to person. His English was great & was very resourceful. All the staff are very willing to please, sometimes you just have to be a bit patient with the language barrier but we always seemed to get there in the end. Location is probably a little bit out of the way, however there is a restaurant, tour guide/ taxi, massage & tailor about 100m from the front boom gate. There’s a small supermarket about 400m away. They sell snacks, drinks, beer & cigarettes. U can get a car into town for 800baht round trip & the driver will wait for you. Khao Lak village is about 15-20min drive away but it’s a pretty easy trip on dual lane highway most of the way. We didn’t really need to leave the resort too often. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would definitely do it again.

Our stay was a belated birthday for my wife as I had been away for a few week and also missed her last 3 (Covid-19) the hotel was great with a message on the bed and a nice personal cake. ( thank you) Staff were the most responsive to any request I have seen. Every one was alway available to help. In the area is two memorials for the tsunami, they are not maintained very well but should be visited.

Graceland Khaolak Beach Resort is a seafront hotel on the outskirts of Khao Lak, Thailand. The beach, which is steps away from the hotel, has fine sand and shallow waters, although swimming in the sea is prohibited during the rainy season because of the large waves and ocean currents. Graceland Khaolak Beach Resort has plenty of places to relax, including a sun terrace, two main pools, a kids' pool, and a whirlpool. If you're looking for an active holiday, you can play tennis, squash, table tennis, pool, and beach football. If you're a water sports enthusiast, you can try kayaking, which is organized by the hotel. The hotel also offers classes in Thai boxing and yoga. If you want to pamper yourself, you can head to the spa, which offers a range of treatments. You can get a Thai massage here. The hotel runs a kids' club, where children aged between 4 and 12 years old. There's a buffet restaurant, which has views of the garden two à la carte restaurants, and four bars.
A very nice Hotel at the nice Bangsaak beach. We had a pool villa which was really nice, clean with safe box a big big bed, Whirlpool tube , big shower and of course big flat screen TV. Small nice veranda very good to chill. The hotel staff was extraordinary friendly! The Fitness gym is equipped good enough. The small minus was the first day breakfast (limited offers due to less hotel visitors) but thanks god they changed it on the second day and offered a breakfast buffet which was delicious ?

Bangsak Village is specified as a "Couple Resort". The resort shall not accept any booking for family with children under 12 yrs. One room is served for 2 persons only. No extra bed provided.
The resort is beautiful and staff so friendly and helpful. Food was very good however being on a half board promotion, I didn’t see full menu. There were 2 beach restaurants very close where food and prices very good. Having stayed previously I was aware how far out the resort is so wasn’t disappointed that there is nothing else “walkable” so for a place to chill out, Bangsak Village would be perfect.

The property is very well maintained. My wife and I spent one night in a very nice, clean and comfortable bungalow, very much in-line with the description provided on the booking website. A good base to explore this area of Khao Lak.

This is a very special property of only three self catering villas set in a lovely garden with a shared pool. Well equipped with bedroom lounge/kitchen and bathroom and your own garden facing terrace the whole area is kept pristine. Pool is great and never crowded. Local restaurants both in the village and on the beach are great and about 5-10 mins walk. Beach is wide and clean with plenty of space and shade available accessed by walking through the adjacent hotel grounds. Although there are minmarkets outside you would need transport if you want to self cater in your villa. Excellent breakfast and snacks available on site. Nigel and Tui are very welcoming and helpful.

I’ve been an ongoing customer here for many years. This tiny resort used to be a nice, quiet retreat near a secluded, pristine beach. Now, the beach is covered with rubbish year-round, and high-rise hotels are being built on both sides. The main road that runs through the resort is now clogged with construction vehicles, loud motorbikes without mufflers, tractors and earth moving machines working all around, rain or shine. Prices remain low because demand is low. Now, the foreign workers for nearby construction projects stay in the ‘better’ units, while paying customers are given the less-desirable units. The cottages themselves are also showing signs of wear, and need refurbishing. 5 years ago it earned 5 stars. Now it barely earns one.
