L'Sirene: A Boutique Resort Experience the sun, sand and waves as L'Sirene Boutique Resort rises in Brgy. Reserva, Baler
What I like most about this property is you have a lounge pool right out your doorstep (we stayed at rooms A1 to A4), a medium sized lap pool under the shade of the coconut trees, and the Baler beach with its trademark waves. It has an exclusive feeling because no other resorts are nearby, and this adds to the peaceful and restful ambiance of the property. It is quiet at night, perfect if you want to have a good night's sleep or chat with family. We had a bonfire at the beachfront after we had our dinner. If you are with family members composed of seniors and young children you've found the right place. They have their own restaurant also so no need to worry about where to eat. Be careful not to misplace or break any linens and glassware in the room so you won't be charged extra for incidentals.

The good 1. Hospitality - during our stay, there was a system issue that caused my room to be overbooked, but the staff were able to provide us with a solution that we absolutely loved. Everyone from the receptionists, housekeepers, and the restaurant staff are so welcoming! 2. Free parking 3. The hotel is next to Sabang beach. You can enjoy the nice sea breeze and enjoy the sounds of waves. Very relaxing. 4. Great food! 5. Lots of surfing coaches to teach you the basics of surfing! 6. Rooms are clean and adequate. Good place for a family gathering, barkada outing, and other activities since the place has ample rooms. We booked a room with 4-pax capacity! The bad 1. If you are coming from Metro Manila, then expect around 7-8 hours of butt-numbing drive. It's quite far, but distance is rather subjective. Neither good nor bad... I have no other comments! Basically, my wife and I enjoyed our short visit to Baler. We stayed in a spectacular hotel! We would definitely be back someday with family and friends!

See you soon! Cheers!
Spent our 2019 New Year Celebration at this resort. What the beachfront is lacking, the hotel makes up for in good food, friendly staff and excellent ambiance. The Port Tavern is a definite hangout place. Would have deserved a 5 star if it werent for the beachfront and lack of cabinets to stow our stuff. Overall, we would visit the place again

"Old Parola Seaside Cottages" is a family-run beachfront inn and restaurant on Sabang Beach, right next to Baler's oldest lighthouse. It features 6 air-conditioned cottages with en suite toilet and shower good for 2 persons, 2 fambam fan rooms with en suite toilet each of which can accommodate 10 persons, and a barkada fan room ideal for groups of up to 15 persons. "The Shack," the in-house restaurant, serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, and offers a special menu for vegetarians.
Old Parola is a huge mistake and gave worst experience! Our travel date was December 28 and we made our booking through their Facebook page as early as December 11, did the deposit and got the confirmation. On our arrival date, we arrived Baler around 9pm from 11 hour travel from Manila so imagine the longingness to rest our bodies to bed. To our horror, the help (not sure if i can call her receptionist) told us they had some error and all rooms are booked!! The owner would not talk to us but i insisted that she at least face us and remedy the situation. She offered to transfer us to their "other" room for a night and we can move to our reserved room the following day upon other guests check out. To our dismay, they wanted us to sleep to an old, dirty room with no aircon, no bed frame just mattress and no own restroom!! Of course we did not agree so they looked for an available room to the transient house nearby and we were left with no choice. The help even forgot to give us the key of that "temporary" room! The next day we moved to our original room and i cannot say anything good about their room - the sheets were dirty (i even had bug bite the following day as huge as my palm), the towels were so old it even had patch to cover the hole on it, there was no water for hours and no tissue paper! Location? Nah! though it is beach front, the surfing and swimming area is still 200 meters away.

A secluded accommodation on the foot of a hill and across the street from an internationally known surf spot in the Philippines - "Cobra Reef." Our Suites are cozy yet stylish and furnished with all the essentials to a great weekend escape. All our suites were put together with a keen eye for detail to appeal to your epicurean taste buds yet a feel not far away from home. It has its own toilet and bath with hot rain shower. All rooms have a private balcony with a view of the sea(for Premier) and the lush mountainside. It is strategically located near Baler’s famous tourists attractions. Not too far from the hustle and bustle of Sabang Beach (9 kms/ 15 minute drive), Kahanamoku boasts of a more private and tailor-fit Baler experience. We are walking distance from the Baler Fish Port and across the street from a world class surf spot that hides behind a magical walk through a mangrove sanctuary. A handful of white sandy beaches and breathtaking sites just a few minute drive from us.
Away from the bustle of Baler town and Sabang beach, Kahanamoku is quite, relaxing and has a lovely vibe. Rooms. are clean and staff are super helpful and friendly as are the owners and family, who made us very welcome. The best thing is the fantastic vegetarian breakfast options. Yummy vegetarian tapsilog, delicious nut and seed oatmeal, veggie omelette - what a great way to tart the day! Lots to do and see in and around Baler even if you are not a surfer. If you are a surfer then this bed and breakfast is close to some great surf spots too. Highly recommend a stay at Kahanamoku!

Its our first time in Baler. We got 3 rooms at the 2nd floor with sea view but the window actually faces the terrace and not the sea. There were tables and chairs at the terrace. Its not like you can open your window and watch the waves. (Pls refer to the photos) There is no restaurant. No complimentary water. No towel. No amenities. No swimming pool. No TV. Cant recall if there is shampoo nut there is a tiny soap. Those are not issues for me as we brought everything with us. We were there just there to sleep as we spent the day outside the hotel. The big concern for me is the NOISE from other guests talking and drinking right outside our rooms. They talk and laugh aloud til 2AM!!! The aircon is functioning. Parking is also available for 3 cars. 4 people can fit in the room as there is a pull out bed. This hotel is stones throw away from Playa Azul which is way too much better but its still closed and will open on Feb 28. Staff at this hotel are okay. They just need to rennovate and reformat the design of the rooms and just remove the terrace to eliminate the "tambayan" area. (If they want to stay in business)

I could say a number of things about the poor maintenance of this place. From finding trash and cleaning tools/equipment in areas where they should not be and AC drippings on the walkways. Or housekeeping issue where toilets are uncleaned in receiving/public areas. Our room was not ready when we came, with unreplaced bedding/linens and hairs everywhere in the bathroom and without free toiletries at all. The hotel manager was compelled to move us to another room on the ground floor when we vigorously complained about it. Room paints peeling off and very very poor room lighting (because of uncleaned lighting fixtures perhaps) and TV and set top box cables not properly organized. This is compounded by boring plated hotdog/egg and rice breakfast menu every morning. One will notice as well that most of the hotel staffs here are HRM students from a nearby school. Maybe staying here was a mistake. But wait, may be it was not. Staff integrity counted more than most of these poor showing. In my opinion at least. I left my original Samsung Level U Bluetooth Headset when we checked out (cost over half of what we paid for the 3 nights stay). I phoned the hotel few hours after we left the hotel. I was advised by the reception staff that the hotel housekeeping personnel found it in our room and turned it over to them. Now, that was what you call plain integrity. The housekeeping staff could have just kept it for himself and no one would know. I did not even remember where I left it. I just took my chance of accounting the hotel for it. But for me it was already gone. I salute the honesty and trustworthiness of this hotel staff. A very rare attribute nowadays. Whatever shortfall this hotel has, were redeemed by this one single gesture of uprightness in character. A laurel on the hotel's hat?

8 premium rooms concept boutique hotel with balcony - infinity pool - 2 story cafe/bar with unblocked ocean view - private beach - native style cottages. Our latest business venture, albeit a little ambitious, is a development of beach front cottages utilizing “retired” sea freight containers, trusted both compactness and durability, having been previously tested and suited for the sea trades.
We recently had our company outing in the resort. We occupied all the rooms so we had the resort all to ourselves. Let me start by commending the owners and the staff for being super nice and very accommodating. As a big group, we had a lot of demands and they were all met and accommodated. They set up extra tents to house the extra persons who won't fit in the room which I really appreciated because it was really getting tough looking for a venue that can accommodate 50 pax in 1 place at a reasonable price during the summer season. The rooms are great. It's clean and the beds are soft and comfortable. The bathroom is a big plus for me because it's spacious and super clean. They maximized the container vans very well without looking cramped. They have a pool overlooking the beach which our staff especially the kids enjoyed. They have nipa hut cottages, videoke machine, grilling area, lounge chairs, basically, everything you may need. They also have a restaurant which served Singaporean drinks and dishes. The kaya toast and kopi are soooo good. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and we can't wait to go back.

Several hours from Manila, EASY Adventure welcomes you to The Conservatory, a sustainable, full-service campsite fronting a surfable beach and a palm-fringed river. Formerly a private retreat for city folks looking to just surf and sleep under the stars, we have developed our site to share with others what it truly means to unplug. Our days mean surfing the beachfront, swimming in the river, snacking by the mangroves, or napping on a hammock. Nights are spent amidst the presence of fireflies, enjoying the ocean breeze, or unwinding by a bonfire. A visit here includes well-appointed tents, warm meals, and a hospitable staff-inviting you toexperience why we fell in love with this spot-the simplicity of camping, now enhanced with the convenience of service.
The place is so relaxing. Ambiance can heal you, in any forms, heartbreaks or sickness. Fresh air and not crowded. Food is great and it is such a good place to escape from the city. Very hospitable staff and very approachable.
