Lodging in one of our spacious and bright apartments (45 or 55 qm) with balcony and wonderful view onto the the alpine scenery, you will forget your everyday life quickly. After an impressing discovering trip by bike, on foot or after a winter sports day you may relax in our oasis of wellness with large swimming pool, sauna and fitness room and enjoy again the great panoramic view onto the mountains. Enjoy a rich breakfast from our very varied buffet with finest coffee specialities. In the afternoon we serve delicious cakes and coffee on our large sun terrace. For dinner you may enjoy a 3-courses-menu (with choice facilities), on certain days in the week we offer a large theme buffet. Reviewed By gendischWunderbar. I loved the personal from the front desk (Ann-Katherin) to the kitchen (Sebastian) and the servers in the restaurant. The meals were fabulous due to Sebastians wonderful knowledge of food. The yoga class I took was breathtaking. The room was beautiful and clean with everything we needed. My husband and I had such a lovely time and would love to go back again :)

Reviewed By des1232015As a first time visitor to Bavaria I have no comparisons. Its a lovely quaint family run hotel in a fantastic setting. We (family of 4) stayed for a weeks activity holiday (package deal) during August in the ‘Wiesengrund 2’ apartments, owned and operated by the hotel some 300m away. Breakfast was available within the building, evening meals available in hotel restaurant. The Positives: Beautiful senic location, 10 mins walking distance from the village, cable car, football pitch, swimming pool, mini golf all close by. The apartment, along with balcony, was very spacious, clean and well equipped….although not all 2 bed apartments in the same building are as spacious. Housekeeping was carried out daily. Friendly good humoured hotel staff. If you are looking for a Bavarian experience, then I think this place wont disappoint on that front! Negatives: Wifi very poor in the apartment. No AC, some days were particularly warm making sleeping difficult. The housekeeping efforts at cleaning was minimal and disappointing. The food menu is very limited, particularly if you've got kids. If you don’t like Bavarian food then you’re likely to be very hungry at the end of your stay. The night time entertainment wears thin after a few days, there’s only so much accordion playing and german singing a person can tolerate! Bus tours of pensioners every night seems to dominate the hotel staff attention. Only a select few waiters can take an order for drinks….very annoying on a busy night! Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Дорогая уборка - в отеле мы провели менее 12 часов, при этом за уборку заплатили почти столько же, сколько за номер. Номер стоил в рублях 4200, а уборка - 3500. Еще есть навязанная услуга СПА, которая при бронировании указывается как дополнительная, и оплата, если только пойдете. Мы не ходили, но по факту заплатили и за нее (300 рублей на двоих). Оплата только наличными.

Reviewed By 346marekkWe (my wife and son and my mother and sister) stayed at this hotel during the Christmas period. The whole hotel had exquisite Christmas decorations of the sort that you do not come across in even very good hotels in the UK. Our room was spacious, with a wooden interior that gave it a very homely feel while having all the modern features you'd want and a rain shower in the bathroom. The large terrace offered views of slopes leading up to mountains that can truly be described as magnificent. As regards the restaurant, we were spoiled for choice with varying 4-course menus every night though it offered soup and snacks if you couldn't wait till the evening. There are apparently 9 chefs busy in the kitchens and they deserve applause. Finally, the wellness centre with its pools, jacuzzi, saunas and relaxation lounge was the perfect addition to make your stay one to recharge your batteries to face whatever 2022 has in store for you.

Reviewed By LouLou1078For the quality of service, it is in general overpriced. The staff seem overwhelmed and in some cases rude. I was not informed as a female that I would have a male masseur and when I questioned it, I was made to feel stupid and ashamed for asking.

The breakfast buffet was just right to get you started for a day of skiing, and the dinners didn't disappoint. The first night we enjoyed some light food due to the time of our arrival, and the second night we had a wonderful meal in a very pleasant atmosphere.

The room had the basics- just two towels and only hand soap, no shampoo. The breakfast buffet was good. A good location- near the center of town and the owner was friendly and competent.

Autumn vacation in the Bavarian Apls
Reviewed By Siegfried RWe found this place by using Google Maps, and booked over the web. First impression of the Hotel was that it appears modern (it re-opened in 2015), and quite clean. The reception was not manned at our arrival, and it took a while to get attention from the staff in the adjacent restaurant to get checked in. The room, we had the "FeWo", was clean and roomy, it was layed out for 2-8 people, which is streching it, given the space in only 1 wardrobe. The bathroom was OK, clean, but with no spot for having the soap or shampoo in the shower. All in all OK, but being so minimal furnished, we found it expensive. The biggest drawbakc is probably the staff, which appears overbearing, and easily getting overwhelmed when the restaurant gets full. We like the village and surroundings very much, and wanted to add 2 days. The lady that checked us in on Saturday, managed to tell us on Wednesday that she could not operate the computer without "the boss", and he was not in, which seem to be common. We have been told, that we could enter the Sauna with our room key, that did not work either. As clean as the rooms were kept, the breakfast buffet swarmed with flies, and that did not seem to concern anybody either. We will certainly return to Hinterstein village, which has much to offer, but we will not return to Hotel Grüner Hut.
