Last Minute Overnight

My husband and two teenage boys spent a lovely weekend here. Cocktails in the courtyard with an amazing locally sourced white wine started the evening off brilliantly. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was good and plentiful. Jens, our bartender, sommelier, and over all care taker was the consummate luxury hotel professional. This is old Germany so a bit formal but the vibe is relaxed and friendly. The staff is all about service. I took full advantage of all of the amenities- pool, steam rooms, sauna, relaxation rooms, gym. My husband did an 8k hike up and down one of the surrounding hills and loved it. The boys explored the town and found a good pizza place. Breakfast is everything you’d want. The boys had two small connecting rooms each with its own single bed and bath. Great for families. We had a small suite overlooking the courtyard. This is a part of Germany I’d not seen. Green hills, vineyards, the Mosel, lush valleys. Totally different than the metropolitan areas. We drove there from the Burg Eltz - an easy 45 drive. The hotel is not in the country as it appears on the website. Instead it is in the middle of the little town. But, once inside it is quiet and serene.

Surprising wellness Hotel with inner values

Reviewed By hotbath

The arrival with car can be strange. The village roads are narrow, little parking space for unload and the Hotel entrance at the the corner feels not like typical Fürstenhof. But after you have parked the car, either in the hotel parking garage or at the village parking (budget) all is improving fast. Staff is very friendly, fast and efficient. The owner is working hard to pampering guests. The buildings from the good old times is nicely renovated and in good shape. The Spa and wellness is fantastic and the thermal water is of very good quality (not very hot). The massage treatment was not the best (she did the massage partially with a wooden stick). The food is delicious with healthy variety. We stayed there for the weekend. It would be nice to stay there for two weeks for a great wellness vacations. You can find many unexpected things in the hotel. There is the choice of over hundred Tea blends. Overall, the hotel has a lot to offer with a high quality and for a good rate. We will be back.

Four mature Bikers made very welcome in lovely hotel. greeted by the owner, we were all booked in and shown to our rooms. I was upgraded to a double room at the front of the hotel which had a small balcony with wonderful views of the main street and the tree lined hills opposite. We were on a half board option. Breakfast and evening meal was good. All in all we were very pleased with our stay here. Very good. This is probably one of the best value hotels in the village, Bad Bertrich (which by the way is very pretty) Geographically it is ideal for motorbike riding up and down the river Mosel. It is equidistant between Koblenz and Trier. Stunning scenery.

Quite location. Beautiful nature around. Clean rooms. Nice breakfast. Friendly stuff. Vulkaneifel Therme are at 5 min walking distance. The best option to book the hotel is via the hotel site e-mail directly or phone and to give all your details as arrival time and board preferences. Breakfast is included. For tourists who prefer hiking, spa , nature and relaxation, this is a nice place to stay. It is handy to know that the dinner in hotel is very good quality but the restaurant is closed one evening per week. There are some places to have dinner around. Better to check availability in advance.

Fantastic service

Reviewed By 625karinw

We went to stay at the hotel during our trip to the Mosel Valley and found ourselves so very welcome at this hotel. They helped us with our car, so we got the opportunity to charge our electrical car in a garage each night. They also helped us to get a children chair for our baby at the breakfast and a crib in the room. We felt so welcome and they helped us with every need that we had. The food was also really nice and the staff of course! Therefore we would very much recommend this hotel that really helps their guest with every little need. Very family friendly! Thankyou for having us!

Tierhafter sollte man immer Meiden
