We had a mix of nice staff and poor facilities. The bed was soft. It was also just 4 feet from the door to the hallway, hot tub, game room which was always loud and distracting. The bedroom door squeaked loudly. The view is a parking lot next to a freeway. The hallway carpets were always dirty. The balcony carpet and chairs had bird crap on them. And then they had the gall to charge us an automatic "amenities" fee.

Visited lobby bar on Saturday evening. We were very disappointed by quality of service. Our espresso martini was served in a small plastic cup and we were charged $18 for it. Really!? Tourist rip off.

Hyatt Mountain Lodge, designed in the tradition of European alpine architecture, is located in the heart of Beaver Creek. Guests are just across the street from shopping and dining, as well as the year-round ice-skating rink and Vilar Performing Arts Center. Skiways are just steps from the ski locker room and provide ski-in/ski-out access to and from the Elkhorn Lift and the slopes.
Sad to see this once elegant property lose it's charm and go downhill. What's with the plastic interior furnishings and downgraded ambience? Mannerly Continental breakfast has become a war zone common to all you can eat buffets. Once befitting of European mountain sophistication, this seems to be more of an entry level 1 Hyatt Place. What happened to owners taking pride in this property? I hope that the once alpine chic welcoming atmosphere can somehow be recaptured.

Pet-friendly and within walking distance to area restaurants and shopping. Beautiful river rock fireplace in cozy lobby.
Very nice standard hotel convenient to Vail and Beaver Creek. Bed were comfortable and the room was quiet and spacious. Housekeeping did a great job. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Continental breakfast was decent and dining area with fireplace was cozy. Plenty of free parking.

This was a wonderful B & B in Avon. Very convenient location and absolutely wonderful breakfasts. Loved that the chef prepared individual breakfast in the true of European B & B's. Lovely welcoming touches such as a rose and candy to welcome us. Though slightly inconvenient to change to crocs coming in and out and to breakfast house given skiers and otherwise wet floors I very much appreciated this. Owners provided crocs to wear inside. Very thoughtful touches much appreciated. Nice hot tub but couldn't get lid to stay open despite bungee.

Set below Beaver Creek® ski area, Sheraton Lakeside Terrace Villas at Mountain Vista, Avon, Vail Valley features premium two-bedroom villas with kitchens, washers and dryers, fireplaces, Sheraton Signature Sleep Experience Beds and furnished balconies.
Loved, loved, loved this hotel. Extremely quiet, never heard anyone above us or next to us. Small washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen (e.g. blender, real coffee maker, nice and plentiful silverware), two very comfortable sofabeds with adequate bedding to make them up, free heated/indoor parking (a HUGE bonus when it's snowing), and close to everything. Lovely fireplaces, nice balcony, and a very large condo feel. A steal at 60,000 points redemption rate for Marriott Bonvoy points. Close to restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. Only minor downsides were only one guy to check people in, so line was slow, and there were a couple of hairs in the bathtub when we arrived, but very minor hiccups at an otherwise perfect property. Highly recommend.

The home (302) was furnished very nicely and the neighbors and staff were very friendly! Our only concern was lukewarm water in the master bedroom shower, no idea why. Other than this, we loved it! Good location too.

We discovered there is no AC only when we got to the room. There were a couple of fans that did nothing to cooling down the 80 plus degree heated 2 bedroom condo. Medical conditions forced us to go to a different resort that had AC, and when we explained our medical conditions and asked for a refund the manager said AC is not under amenities, so as far as they are concerned they disclaimed everything appropriately, so no refund for us!! When i checked the amenities I noticed Heat is not listed either, but they have heat working, so according with the explanation we got one should find Heat under amenities! The story kept changing depending who we talked to, from “no one around here has AC” to “we actually have one unit with AC”.. we were offered 30% discount for our future visit with them. Winter visits might work, definitely not the summer!! However we felt the AC situation should be made clear, instead is very shady and unprofessionally handled, almost like they are trying to keep it a secret until is too late!! we felt cheated out of our money, and had to come up with more $$$ just so our family vacation would not be ruined, plus a 20-hours drive not be in vain. We do not recommend this place!
