Atlanta has been dubbed everything from the "capital of the new South" and "the next international city" to "the best place to do business." It's also a great place to visit. Fueled by the prosperity of local mega companies like Coca Cola and Holiday Inn, the prestige of hosting the 1996 Summer Olympic Games and the energy of young upwardly mobile types who have migrated to the city in droves - Atlanta is on fire. And this time it's a good thing. From world-class restaurants and a myriad of cultural attractions to a hip nightlife and sporting events galore, the city is cosmopolitan in every sense of the word. But Atlanta has also managed to maintain its historic character. Stop by the Atlanta History Center or visit the Martin Luther King Jr. Historical Site, a moving tribute to an American icon. Browse through the former home of famous author Margaret Mitchell or pop into the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum for details on the life and times of the former president and his family. Whether you choose modern urban endeavors or old southern pleasures, Atlanta will not disappoint.

InterContinental Hotels brings a new luxury lifestyle experience in trendy Buckhead's neighborhood with spacious newly-renovated executive rooms, a redesigned lobby, and garden reminiscent of a classic manor home with southern charm, re-imagined Gala Ballroom space, a fully staffed Club InterContinental Lounge, a new dining venue, The Americano, helmed by celebrity chef Scott Conant, and understated, excellent service.
Conveniently located near shopping and restaurants featuring regional cuisine. Great service starting at the curb. Jermaine made sure to make our stay an excellent one by making sure or room needs were met and providing dining recommendations. The on site restaurant is excellent with great staff. I would recommend this hotel for any business event or just to stay when in the Atlanta area.

They have bunk bed options! What a surprise! They were so comfortable. Everything was high quality, clean, unique, and classy! The hotel rooms are nice, but I do not recommend this hotel. Valet parking is the only option (no self parking) and my car was damaged by a valet driver. I drove directly from the hotel to my home about 45 minutes away, where I noticed a literal hole in by bumper. I immediately called the hotel and got the runaround from hotel and parking staff. I suggested they verify the damage by checking the security cameras, only to be told that they don't have cameras at the car drop off or in the parking area. Now, this hotel claims that they offer a secure, safe lot, so I'm confused--no cameras? Not even where guests are dropping off their cars and offloading their luggage? All I hear about is how crime has ramped up in Atlanta, so if you are looking for a hotel with safety features, perhaps look elsewhere. Long story short--my new car was damaged, no one will be accountable for it, and the hotel is lacking in security features.

Our hotel features on-site dining, free made-to-order breakfast, and complimentary evening social. Enjoy our indoor pool and full fitness center.
The entire staff was amazing & accommodating. We were attending a graduation with friends and family. They made us feel at home. Also, big Kudos to Raymond, he makes the BEST omelettes I’ve ever had in an Embassy. My youngest son is a picky eater and for the first time tried Raymond’s omelet and was absolutely happy.

Stay in the Heart of Atlanta on Peachtree Street Our hotel is just minutes from attractions like the Georgia Aquarium, King Center, World of Coca-Cola and College Football Hall of Fame — plus Ponce City Market, Piedmont Park, the BeltLine walk and bike path, neighborhood shops and outdoor dining.
Very disappointed with portion of food ordered and extremly highly priced versus quantity/quality. Very sad for this hotel brand to serve low quality fast food at 4 stars hotel/restaurant price. Something needs to change here.

Exceptional guest experience while staying at this property. We were most impacted by Guest Service Agent, Ms. Charmaine. She is an extraordinary representation of the Best of Hospitality. The epitome of what is missing in the hotel industry today. Always welcoming each guest with a warm smile and engaging conversation. Kudos to the entire team!

Unlike any other hotel in Downtown Atlanta, The American Hotel - a DoubleTree by Hilton, offers a convenient location and professional service. Take an engaging look into the hotel's storied past and immerse into mid-century modern style that celebrates striking architectural details, pop art and furnishings with clean lines. Encounters that enrich your visit include images of music and movie stars of the day, captivating artwork and a wall of historical photos that pays homage to the hotel's significance as downtown Atlanta's first hotel welcoming guests of all races when opened in 1962. Your stay begins with a warm welcome and a famous DoubleTree chocolate chip cookie: then it's off to creating your own memorable experiences whether relaxing in your fashionably renovated guest room or enjoying a cocktail, bar bites or Southern-inspired entrees at The Cloakroom Kitchen & Bar. Our location in downtown Atlanta places you at the threshold of all that Atlanta has to offer.
We had an excellent experience all around, but I have to say the staff was all around amazing. Tiqua went out of her way to make our trip extra special and gave us a tour and informed us of all of the amazing aspects of the Hotel and it’s history!! Every staff member we spoke to was friendly and professional!! The room was clean and had everything we needed!

The Artmore Hotel is a unique midtown Atlanta hotel. An independent boutique hotel, the Artmore prides itself on delivering a personalized guest experience, not previously seen in Midtown Atlanta. The scope of the renovation began with a restoration of the buildings facade, a 1924 building whose design is based on Spanish Mediterranean aesthetics. Situated on West Peachtree Street in the middle of Atlanta's Cultural Arts District is the newest boutique Midtown Atlanta Hotel. The Artmore is the reinvention of an historic architectural landmark building in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. Check out the Studio Bar & Cocktail Lounge for a cocktail before or after a night on the town.
My second time to stay at the Artmore. The location is well suited for events at the promenade and it's a short drive to Buckhead or the Krog district. The loft that we stayed in was exceptional in all ways. The downside was that partiers in the courtyard kept us up until the early morning hours.
