The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Reviewed By Ted CGood++ Excellent location directly in front of the Ashikaga JR Station. This is a rather new facility and our room was super clean We paid only $52 for an economy double and this included breakfast. Easy walking distance to the two main tourist sites in Ashikaga, Banna-ji Temple and Ashikaga Gakko. Parking is available for a fee, free wi-fi, and two free laptops in the lobby Bad-- The economy double is easily the smallest hotel room I have ever been in. Amenities are a tooth brush (2) and tooth paste. Ask at the front desk for a razor if you want one. Ugly ** Night robes (nemaki) are down in the lobby in a rack, not in the room. Breakfast is buffet style, certainly edible enough but not high cusine by any means. In short good for the price, but the Ritz it is not.

A delightful surprise
Reviewed By fellowtraveler5852A wonderful cordial staff make this a very pleasant experience. Very clean and comfortable rooms and affordable. The hotel is in the quaint old town section of Ashikaga across from the entrance to Bannaji Temple and on the same block as Ashikaga Gakko the old university. The rooms on the north side overlook the temple. I spent 10 days on and off this trip and loved it.

Reviewed By LED276This is a business hotel that is clean and comfortable. Rooms are average sized for Japan and the bathroom is compact, breakfast is adequate. A word of advice if you are looking for a restaurant nearby, the Japanese, Korean bar-b-q restaurant next door has good food BUT beware of the cost. Although it is not stated, food on the English menu is charged per person NOT per item so it comes as a nasty surprise when the amount you are expecting to pay is doubled if there are two of you.

Reviewed By Ashok Jbeautiful hotel and Japanese staff was superb. Their behavior and attitude towards the customer was great. Japanese peoples are best for their manners. Ashikaga city you can see the beautiful garden where you can see variety of flowers.

夕焼けがきれい
Reviewed By kousuke s宴会の後にそのまま宿泊しました。夕焼けがきれいに見えるので景色も含めていい感じです。料理はふつうでしたけど、景色がよかったので満足でした。

Reviewed By majika2016観光で足利を訪れました。夕焼けがきれいという案内に惹かれて、梅雨の最中、夕時が晴れている日を選んで行きました。１９時前に屋上に上がり、日没を待ちます。確かに素晴らしい夕焼けを見ることができました。夕日の反対側には、渡良瀬橋や織姫神社が見えます。見下ろせば渡良瀬川の流れがほぼ１８０度で見れて、マルチビューです。今回はBBでしたが、朝食は素晴らしかったです。畳スペースがあるツインで、使いやすくきれいな造りに感動しました。なんと一人５５００円です。CPは高いです。

アットホームで安心❗️
Reviewed By samoneko足利市街地からは若干離れていますが、車で行くぶんには全く問題ありませんでした。もちろん、歩いて市街地に行く事も可能な範囲です。 ビジネスホテルと言う事で、良くある普通の狭い部屋をイメージしていましたが、どっちかと言うと旅館っぽい感じです。自販機や温泉はないですが、オーナー（この日は若夫婦は不在で、大女将さんみたいな方が対応してくれました）がとても親切にしてくれて、ビールや酎ハイの販売もしてくれましたし、お風呂も自分達の都合に合わせて沸かしてくれました。部屋もビジネスホテルとは比べ物にならないくらい広くて良かったです。ただ、この日は、この時期では異常に寒くて暖房が欠かせなかったんですが、部屋の暖房がイマイチ効きが悪く、寒かったです? けど、布団は綺麗であったかかったので良く眠れました。とにかく、安さでここを選ばせて頂いたので、私は十分満足でした。また機会がございましたら、よろしくお願い致します。
