Located in the old Jewish quarter of the town of Arévalo and next to the church of St Domingo, The Five Lineages Inn offers visitors a new concept of luxury and a return to history. The name of the Five Lineages dates back to the founding of the town: Arévalo, recognized in its entirety as a historic-artistic heritage site. The grand old house, built on the 13th century foundations and which had its maximum splendor in the early last century, has been entirely restored retaining the spirit of the times and keeping the original elements. Every room has been tastefully restored, adding modern touches which contrast in perfect harmony.
We stayed here for one night in October. According to the comments on Tripadvisor we expected a little more. We got a room on the top. The room was small with no tea and coffee making facilities, bathroom was small. The sink was in the room, separated from the bed by a glass partition. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, but it was very disturbing noise from the road -Saturday night! The hotel is great building with nice decoration and very beautiful wooden stairs to the first and second floor. Dining room for breakfast is located on the beautiful covered inner courtyard. Breakfast was delicious with many choices. Free parking is possible in the main square - near the hotel. In Avila we were on Saturday, we were disappointed by the town, it was very boring. The only event was an evening mass in the church in the main square. Yes, and in the tapas next door sat some people watching a football match. Overall a wonderful building and it is ok for short stay.

In the middle of the road - in fact just on the route north. Clean and neat room with very good bathroom. No view except a parking lot. No disturbing noice from the traffic. Air conditioning, no breakfast included. Suitable for one night on the road.
