Property with 50 wooden houses in a nice green area in the medieval village of Annot. The houses of 36 m2 are composed of tow sleeping rooms, a dining room and kitchen corner, bathroom and toilets and a terrasse outside. Capacity of the each house is 4 to 5 person. In a main house you have a restaurant and a bar where your are welcome to try the fresh local food and also vegetarian or vegan food. For workshop you may also rent a room or visite one of the program organized. From there you have a nice view on the village and the world-famous sandstone cliffs of Annot. From there you can also go by foot for shopping, trekking, climbing or by care nearby for canyoning or swimming in the lake.
An enjoyable stay
Reviewed By A1051HQjoannacI spent the months of September and October in Le Pré Martin. Annot is a pretty village in the mountains, only an hour’s drive from the airport and attainable by train from Nice. The new young owners are very helpful and efficient. The 36 chalets are wonderfully situated, with stunning views and only 5 minutes’ walk from the village. There are plenty of walks to do, a swimming pool in the village and drives to several well-known sites, such as the Gorges du Verdon. I highly recommend the Pré Martin. I had a wonderful time.

This family friendly hotel with restaurant ideally located between sea and ski is opened all year long to propose you the charms of the low mountain range. Landscapes will take your breath away and will offer you beautiful hiking trails. Whether for a weekend or to spend your holidays, we welcome you within our hotel where we shall do our best to satisfy you.

Reviewed By Juliette DThe lad serving us was really friendly but from the menu to the table the ‘steak’ had managed to magically transform itself into a raw cold burger... so 10/10 for meal entertainment. For 10.0€ you could say its value for money but to put things into perspective; you can buy a McDonalds burger (cooked) with lettuce and decent chips for 3€..: For a 4,5 stars rated restaurant experience I was left rather underwhelmed.

With the restaurant offering fresh local menu, cosy lounge and bar, Hotel de l'Avenue is the toppest destination for all professionnals who need to reach Annot and its economic and commercial area. Hotel de l'Avenue is located at 2 km (1,2 mile) from National Road 202 (Nice-Grenoble) and 300 m from railway station of the unic and scenic train line of Chemin de Fer de Provence

Reviewed By TheSkeptikWe (four adults and two small kids) came up to Annot from Puget by the steam-engine drawn train, just in time for lunch. The Hotel de l'Avenu (de la Gare) was there on the path to the center of town; menacing clouds invited us to stay at this place, but optimistically we chose a table outside. Of course, as soon as the starters came, the rain was starting; but the very helpful staff found a room with a big round table just for us! excellent food, generous portions, good service; and the rain stopped when we had finished. What else can you want!?

Not only the very nice room but the very nice owners who cannot do enough for you! Parking right beside the room so easy to unpack too. We enjoyed sitting in the yard near our terrace looking at the mountains over our Happy Hour wine! This was very special...
