Our Premier Inn Holyhead hotel is set right in the heart of this bustling town in Anglesey. Whether you're travelling to Ireland via the Holyhead Stena Line ferry, exploring historic attractions like the South Stack Lighthouse, or birdwatching at the Breakwater Country Park, getting around is easy when you stay with us. There's a delicious range of meals available at our on-site Thyme restaurant, and when you're done for the day you can look forward to enjoying a great night's sleep on one of our comfy Hypnos beds.
Staff are excellent, can't do enough to help. Room was fine, comfortable for a business stay. Prior to stay, email received to confirm shortage of staff and to not expect same service as usual. Bit of a shame. Rooms not being turned around during stay should have been optional, not by default. At £100 a night, having the tea and coffee tray refilled automatically should certainly be a minimum expectation. Not give reception yet another task to manage. A lot of menu items in the restaurant were not available on the first 2 (of 3) nights of our stay - we ate out on night 3. Location was good in terms of accessing Penrhos and Trearddur Bay for a change of scenery after work/alternative restaurant options.

What a fantastic place, I stay in a lot of Hotels with work and with my hand on my heart I can say I have never been anywhere where every single member of staff were just BRILLIANT I would not hesitate to recommend this Hotel, the food was great in both the Inn on the Bay and the Hotel’s restaurant, the room we had, had ample space (we took our 2 dogs) and very comfortable. But what sets this Hotel apart from the rest is THE STAFF 10/10 100/100 there just fantastic. Thank You from the bottom of my heart ? and please don’t change I’ll be back

An intriguing place, they serve several vegan options throughout the day. A charming environment, old quality, yet very comfortable. They offer a variety of formal, informal and outdoor terrace eating areas. There are several vegan options, although afternoon tea needs to be booked in advance (vegan or otherwise). Very friendly and accommodating staff, they immediately took mine back when a colleague realised there was honey in the salad dressing. Pricing is very reasonable. Highly recommended.

I came up to Anglesey from London in order to see the South Stack Lighthouse before making my way over to Ireland. The weather was incredible, and my stay at Witchingham was as well. Very comfortable and had a great night's sleep! Additionally, I was fortunate enough to get an incredible cabbie. Very fair priced, friendly, and dependable. I got his number after he dropped me off at Witchingham and called him up several times while there. When he said I'll be there at a certain time, he was there at that moment on the dot! Very reliable and would love to give him a shout out as well, if possible. Unfortunately, I forgot his name but his number is 07561 156 287

We booked this as it's the closest hotel to the ferry terminal and has free parking. You know exactly what you're going to get when you book Travelodge - a no-frills, reasonably priced stay. I'm glad I didn't take too much notice of some of the reviews on this site. Our room and bathroom were spacious and clean - yes, maybe some of the common areas could do with a closer vacuum into the corners but our space was absolutely fine. The receptionist was very friendly and gave us directions and recommendations for pubs serving food.

I stayed at the Trecastell for 2 nights. The first night with my husband and the second with my daughter. The room was at the front, incredible sea views and immaculately clean, the bathroom especially. My daughter spilt half a bottle of wine on the carpet and when I went to check out and offer money to cover the cleaning, Jill refused to take it, despite my many embarrassed protests. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again!!
