Reviewed By 210stephanwWe stayed one night in Amsterdam Castle as stopover on our tour from Cape Cod to Niagra Falls. Everything was fine and room was very clean. Parking was free and hotel easy to access from the parking lot. Restaurant was closed at this evening.

Trying to contact a guest
Reviewed By Reenie819I was trying to call my friend who was staying at the hotel. I spoke to a woman named Sue who was the rudest, most ignorant, and arrogant person I had ever spoke to in my life. She told me she is not going to put the call through to the room because they took her phone because she has a cell phone. The cell phone she does have does not work it has no service. So now there is no way for me to contact her. According to sue she is the manager and what she says goes and she is not going to even try to put the call through. When I asked to speak to corporate office she said there isn't one and hung up on me. I work for the Ramada inn and the comfort inn in Boston for 14 years. If we ever had an employee speak to a guest or even a person on the phone in that manner they would have been fired on the spot. You need to do something about Sue and her attitude thank you

Better than expected
Reviewed By LGA421We stayed here while passing through upstate NY. I thought the bed was fairly comfortable and the room was clean. This hotel was priced appropriately. I couldn't access the wifi and I forgot to ask management why that might be. Be aware that this borders a highway so be prepared for road noise.

Reviewed By noshrivers1The building looks brand new. Very clean and gorgeous property. Front staff very pleasant and friendly. Check with a Mr. Goodwin I think. He was super friendly and funny. I have no doubt I will stay at this property when I'm in the area.
