Reviewed By X3279UHtomsI can't say enough good things about this Hotel, and I am a very experienced and picky traveler. My wife and I spent 3 days here in mid-September, enjoying the hiking, the food and the spa. The design of the hotel is stunning: modern and sleek; tastefully done, with very large rooms and bathrooms and terraces. The setting, with views of the mountains, is breathtaking. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, and if you select the option to do dinner at 30 Euro supplement per person, you are in for a treat. Try to get Maria and Stani and Johannes as your servers. All 3 were so gracious and charming, and help make the meals even more pleasant. The spa area is worth spending time in after hikes. The Indoor/Outdoor pool is immaculate and beautiful and there is a good workout room, too. You can start your hikes directly from the hotel, and there is a hiking concierge who will walk you through your options, or you can hike with him, I think...but we did not. A big shout-out to Philip at the Front Desk. He was very helpful throughout our entire stay. Hard to find such gracious service at other hotels. This one does it right. We can't wait to return next year!

Reviewed By Ste_CambridgeThis is a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location on the Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi, with access to so many hiking paths, and at the time I visited, 2 lovely chairlifts and 2 cable cars operating within walking distance of the hotel (there would be more open in the winter). My room ("superior sole" category) was light, spacious, quiet and comfortable. The food and service at breakfast and dinner was top quality, and the connected indoor and outdoor swimming pools sparklingly spotless and refreshing. I very much hope to visit again!

Reviewed By travelimanWe only stayed one night. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. The hotel is a food step from the skilift, hence like, great in winter. For summer and fall I would not overrate the location. It's easy to get anywhere with the busses. The diner (we had half board) and the breakfast buffet were great, and all the staff are very friendly. There's nothing bad about the Floranpina but I personally find it overpriced. REMARK: You need a permission to drive thru the nature reserve to get to the hotel. Make sure to request one prior to your arrival! We were not informed of this and got stopped by the police!

Beautiful hotel in a pristine area!
Reviewed By MsItaly98This hotel is an absolute dream! It's located in such a pristine town/village. You can walk to the gondola or rental bikes, hiking, whatever your desire for outdoor activity is. They have lots of glass in the lobby and adjoining bar to enjoy the flower boxes in the window and the gorgeous green pastures and hills across the street. The property is kept sparkling clean as well as the rooms. The rooms are very quiet and we booked the junior suite with a balcony so we were fortunate enough to enjoy the cows bells across the street. The dining room where breakfast is served is very relaxing with visually pleasing meals. The dinners were very good and they did not bad at all in accommodating gluten free. The breakfast is one of the best we've had. The variety of meats and bakery items should have something for everyone. The staff is very helpful and a pleasure to interact with. Would like to have had at least one English channel on the TV, but they pretty much just have Italian and German stations. Definitely not a deal breaker! We really hope to return for another visit and would highly recommend this property!

Good location at reasonable price
Reviewed By ntalabanyAs a base for a hike across the Seiser Alm the hotel Piccolo Sciliar in Compatsch works quite well. Seiser Alm a natural park so access via car is limited and parking for the day at Compatsch alone cost €18. This hotel located opposite the general car park therefore seems like a deal. I had a fairly basic, but clean, adequately sized room with a nice hot water shower and an enclosed balcony that provided wonderful views of the Petz for the very reasonable walk-in price of €62. This included the simple breakfast buffet (bread, scrambled eggs, bacon, salami, cheese, variety of cereals, pastries and juices), as much coffee, tea, cappuccino as you like from a self-service espresso machine, free wifi and parking. The service was a bit brisk but that might have to do with the language barrier. Although a lot of people speak German around here the hotel staff and the guest were predominantly Italian. I had to wait quite a while in front of an empty reception desk until anybody took an interest in enquiring what I would want. Or maybe it was due to the restrictions caused by the virus. The hotel was quite full (lots of families) and staff had to remind everybody to wear their masks in the correct areas. There was also a strange division between breakfast areas. I first wandered into the ‘wrong’ room (the restaurant) and was re-directed into the ‘correct’ smaller lounge area overlooking the hotel’s car park. The buffet offered the same selection though so I could not figured out if that division was linked to the room rate or to personal preference of the manager.

Reviewed By Antwerp007Treff-Hof is fantastic: very nice modern and well equiped apartments with incredible views. Owners are very helpful and friendly. We discovered it in search of a stop over on our way from Italy to Belgium and were so sorry it was only for one night. Next time we will surely stay longer. It is the place to be for a great holiday in the mountains.

Amazing restaurant

His name was Moritz. He remembered us after the first time. He was very helpful, cheerful and reliable overall a great guy thanks to him we had a better experience. We strongly recommend the place.
