Clean and quiet, simply best
Reviewed By Montreal_CanadaBobI visited 4 hotels in 4 day in region of Lac St Jean... And it was the best one. All of those hotels was clean, quiet... BUT shower was classy, big AND comfortable beds, proximity of downtown and especially great coffee at Pacini! Thank all staff for stay!

Reviewed By TVTAmemberI was disappointed in my stay at this Choice hotel in Alma. Although supposedly completely non-smoking, the room smelled of smoke. The room had a microwave and fridge but no cups or coffee maker. I had to go next door to McDonald’s to buy a small coffee so that I would have a paper cup to heat water in the microwave. I was given an incorrect internet password (all caps instead of all lower case) and the problem wasn’t immediately evident to the person at registration. The minimalist ‘grab and go’ breakfast consisted of a juice box, small muffin and some canned peach slices. No tea or coffee.

A warm and wonderful place to stay in Alma
Reviewed By sathontheroadMy husband and I recently stayed at Gite Almatoit and it was a wonderful experience. The gite is well located within walking distance of restaurants, and easy to access from the highway. The hosts were very friendly and helpful in providing advice about things to see and do in the area, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast, served at a large communal table, was delicious. We would highly recommend this B&B to travellers to the beautiful Lac St Jean region.

The establishment Travelodge Alma propose 30 rooms will have been completely renovated to offer you a more spacious and quality environment. Also, a restaurant Coq Roti is present in the hotel complex. Being located in downtown Alma, this geographical centralization is ideal for your sightseeing tours. You can enjoy a variety of activities near the hotel. Even more, a brand-new microbrewery present in front of the hotel allowing you to discover some of our local beers.
Quiet, clean, comfortable and safe but very cheap breakfast
Reviewed By Angele LThe place was very quiet, the rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast however was very cheap. You had a choice of a blueberry muffin or chocolatine, an orange juice or an apple juice, an apple (only fruit available), and a piece of cheese. We stayed there 5 days so a diversity would have been greatly appreciated.

quiet calm in an industrialized area
Reviewed By Norma SPleasantly surprised by the range of activities available at this location in addition to large cleans rooms in a very quiet retreat. Fully stocked kitchen and bath tub that was very welcoming after long days of cycling. This is located right on the Velo route des bluets.

A Great Stay by the River
Reviewed By MikeBarry657La Maison du Matelot is a great quiet place to stay along the petit discharge of the Saguenay river. The rooms and beds are great and the common area is very well set up for guests to relax, watch TV and there is a large kitchen Island for doing other work. Two small refrigerators are setup for guests use. It's only a 20-30 minute pretty walk along the river to the many restaurants and cafes in downtown Alma. The staff was especially very helpful in providing dining ideas and guidance on local attractions. A fully cooked breakfast with a rotating set menu is provided.

Reviewed By JogM MUsually we don't like accommodations where you have to share the bathroom and the breakfast table but this place compansates it easily with a wonderful quiet location with own access to the lake and by far the best breakfast we had on our trip through Quebec.

Comfortable room and good breakfast
Reviewed By Pichtoune_71Our stay at Les Berges was satisfying. The room offered a nice calming view and was quiet. The location is lovely with free-range chickens walking around the yard. The breakfast was delicious. Our hosts, also avid cyclists, were helpful in recommending routes. The Chalet is right on the Vélo-Route, which was very convenient. Beware of directions given by the Garmin GPS. It directs you to turn about 100 m too early (when coming from Alma). Look for the sign on the side of the road.

Located in the center of Alma city and 5 minutes to the Lake St-Jean, l’Escale du Routard is an establishment with 3 privates apartments clean and new. Each apartments have 2 or 3 rooms, kitchen with all equipment, living room with tv and complete private bathroom. Parking and internet free all the time. It’s the best place to begin a trip on '' véloroute des bleuets’’ or to discover the restaurants and bars in the center. It’s a pleasure to host you and wish you all a nice trip here.

(Une seule lampe de chevet pour deux) Les draps sont de mauvaise qualité et glissent sur les matelas. La maison est située au bord de la route face à un parking. .. proche des commerces..
