I would not stay again. The room smelled of smoke (says it’s a non-smoking hotel). The hallway carpets were dirty with litter that wasn’t cleaned for over 2 days, as was elevator litter. Doors slammed and shook the room, most of the days and nights. Careful sitting on the office chair in the room; guests may end up on their backsides. Breakfast was in the basement (down elevator and left to warning sign) and included a full breakfast (juices, coffees, teas, cereals, muffins, waffles, pancakes, yogurt, breads, bagels, scrambled eggs and breakfast sausages) in larger eating area = good breakfast. Front desk staff were very accommodating and helpful. The hotel was close to George Washington’s Mount Vernon, but their lobby had no information about the historic site. Good Internet, TV, lighting, plugs for electronics. Only one restaurant appeared to be walking distance and only a soda machine in the hotel; no newspaper. Microwave, refrigerator in room. If being a PLUS member and spending $100.+ with almost non-stop slamming doors is ok, this could be the right place.

Stayed at this hotel on Memorial weekend. We were pleasantly surprised: 5 star service at 3 star hotel. First with Amanuel at the front desk helped with the room and was super nice, quick and professional. Then the room was clean, beds were too, plenty of pillows for your comfort. Breakfast was great, the girls in the kitchen are polite, smiling and doing their job perfectly. There was a lot of people on holiday weekend but they managed to have to refill, clean, remove trash quickly. Great job! Free coffee and tea all day long is pretty good as well. Yes, and the location! Close to Washington DC attractions. We highly recommend this hotel, had a very nice stay there for 2 nights.

MiMi and Levaseian rocked! I have worked in hospitality for over 10 years and am now in leadership with The Walt Disney Company (Resorts) and I can tell you that Lavaseian is the type that you train and promote. Get him in leadership before someone else steals him away! He represented the brand well!!! I will be back because of him

We were visiting our daughter in Alexandria and chose this hotel for their convenient location next to the metro and short walk from Old Town. While those factors were important to us we had no idea of the exceptional service we would receive. We asked for a fan and firmer pillows and within hours were brought a floor fan and 4 firmer pillows - it looked like they just bought them! We also really appreciated the parking garage for our daughter when she dropped by to visit. Breakfast was delicious and having a Whole Foods and CVS across the street was very convenient for picking up drinks and snacks. We will definitely be back!

We recently spent four nights here during a family visit. The location was great, right on King Street at the west end of Old Town and right across the street from the transit center. We walked to restaurants and bars, and rode the Metro train into DC and to the airport. The hotel itself is reasonably modern and well-furnished. The room furnishings were fine, and the bedding was very comfortable. Our room on an upper floor was very quiet. Front desk and housekeeping staff were helpful. Note for disabled visitors: The only accessible entrance is around the side of the building, off the parking driveway; all the other entrances have steps.
