Reviewed By phillip517Upon checkout the staff seemed unsure of how to process Hyatt gift cards but promised to deduct the stay from a Hyatt gift card. A few days after my stay they charged my credit card. The gift cards state they are accepted in Mexico.

Reviewed By David RThe only issue was a delay at check-in. Not a big deal but my office had called ahead and made the paymnt on my CC as I arrived at 10.00am. There was a small queue it took 20 mins … the person on recption, Wnedy was very good, but there was a second person who could have assisted better (in my opinion). Rooms as always clean and comfy. Breakfast was fresh, good variety and plenty more available if you wanted more. These are the reasons we like to use City Express. I would like to see more deals for premium users - still not sure what benefits we actually get.

Check in was seamless with many COVID precautions taken (decontamination tent, foot sanitation ect). The front desk staff (night- Woman, morning-man)was phenomenal, speaking fantastic English and offering to make us to go lunches for our flight since we would be missing breakfast. The rooms were large and exceptionally clean and well stocked. I felt safe and very satisfied.

Mixed feelings but a nice modern property with potential to improve further
Reviewed By AvidTravellerWWSo let’s talk about positives - modern hotel, good location, spacious rooms. Very nicely decorated indeed. It has most amenities you can ask for. Areas which could be improved: 1. Housekeeping - very inconsistent service , lack of amenities / replenishments , no hand towels ( apparently run out as only had face towels). We had to ask Reception to bring shampoo , water as housekeeper didn’t leave stuff which is meant to be replenished daily 2. Breakfast - a la carte from a set menu - not a buffet ( only on weekends apparently), very inconsistent at times, takes time to deliver , so allow time if you have plans - not a great value either as only allowed to select from a set menu - had to ask waiter to replenish coffee. 3. Noise from nearby bar till 11 pm even mid week and even on higher floors - bring ear plugs 4. Air con was not very efficient General manager is very helpful and so is Reception staff. Please raise your concerns with the manager - this hotel has a great potential, they just need to improve standards.

When I asked the following morning, I were able to swap the room a few hours later when I was back from my day at work. It was super that they let me keep my stuff in my original room during the day. I would say that the hotel itself has a high standard and the breakfast was good, but maybe a little bit pricey. What was good - Standard of the room - Rate What was average - Assortment of dishes for breakfast - Knowledge of English What was bad - Somewhat pricey breakfast

Enjoy the suburban area
Reviewed By javinm2016It's an enjoyable hotel if you have personal car to move around, visiting the city centre and places of interest. Not public transportation to and from the place, only by taxis. Not close or easy access to other eating places from there. The hotel breakfast is satisfactory.
