Finest B&B accommodation i have ever stayed at. Exceptionallyl clean, cosy room with all the amenities you need. Varied breakfast menu each day. Eileen and Jim are very kind and go the extra mile to support and help guests. I have slow mobility. Jim parked my car and helped with my luggage. I would stay at the accommidation again on the square in a heartbeat. Bonus is its central to all the amenities beautiful Aberlour has to offer. Highly recommend a visit.

The Aberlour Hotel is a lovely family run hotel, situated in the heart of Scotland's Malt Whisky Country.Family and Dog Friendly, there is a varied menu serving fresh home cooked food using the finest local produce from the humble sandwich through to scallops and steaks to venison casserole. The well-stocked bars offer cask ales and a variety of drams from Speyside and further afield.
OMG what a hidden gem. The food was absolutely amazing with a truly Scottish menu to die for. Staff are Uber friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Before we were seated tonight our two pooches were provided with a dog bed, biscuits and fresh water, very impressive, so sad we found this gem of a place late in our holiday but we will be back. Well worth a visit

Set high above the picturesque Spey Valley, overlooking the village of Aberlour and the River Spey below, The Dowans Hotel offers a rare opportunity for guests to relax and enjoy the elegance of a fine Highland hotel. Built over 100 years ago, now converted to a first class hotel.
Dowans was an amazing place for my wife and I to stay while visiting Aberlour during the Whiskey Festival. The food was outstanding, the bar super fun to hangout in and had a great variety of drinks. The staff were all great and made you feel right at home. Will definitely be back!

An exclusive rural retreat in Speyside Whisky Country offering luxury bed and breakfast, self catering and fully catered and serviced accommodation. Cardhu House is at the very heart of the Whisky Trail where more than half of Scotlands malt whisky distilleries are to be found. Situated a mile from the River Spey, famous for its salmon fishing, and the Speyside Way, a long distance walking and cycling route linking the Cairngorms to the Moray Coast.
We simply could not have asked for anything more - our stay here was perfect. Our hosts Dave and Val could not have been more gracious or accommodating. The countryside setting was beautiful - gently rolling hills, green pastures, trees waving gently in the wind, little country homes, very peaceful, a little church nestled next door and a squirrel or two of you are lucky enough to see them! Our lovely room (Macallan) was warmly decorated (big fluffy towels and robes) and spotlessly clean with a great view of the little town; the big bed so comfortable we didn’t want to move! We ate in the dining room one evening, enjoying the 3-course meal prepared by Val (who also cooked up a storm for breakfast). Dave was our dining room host, always ensuring we had everything we needed. We could say so much more, but in a nutshell we highly recommend this establishment and would most certainly return, we felt very relaxed and rejuvenated and the was a perfect end to our Scottish journey!

View of the boat shaped exterior of The Mash Tun
We spent a few days here while touring distilleries in the area.. A great central location overlooking the river. The room was very nice, although the shower was a bit tight. Breakfast was excellent with a nice choice of kippers to a full Scottish. We had dinner as well and it to was very good. It hasn't changed much since I was last here 14 years ago, but the new paint color was bright and cheery.

The host is really nice and the room is spacious with a nice bathroom and separate toilet. We were there for the distillery and it’s really close by, easy to walk to. She cooked us a really nice breakfast in the dining room.

My son and I stayed at Conval View as part of our road trip around Scotland following his graduation from Edinburgh University. Conval View is a real "home from home" experience thanks to lovely facilities and warm welcome from the owners, Carol and Jamie, who went out of their way to facilitate our stay - from allowing us to leave our bags before check, booking us into a great local restaurant and then providing a tasty breakfast. The location is great for visiting the many distilleries in the area. Overall, a place to visit again once we are back to normal!
